Awesome work, but I believe warm lighting will look better instead of cool white. But its very subjective. Nice work!
I just used the LED that I already had. Some of my stalls have warm lights and some cool, which I think makes makes a realistic mix. Thanks for the feedback.

Hey Ken. I bought a daisy chain for my market stalls. Seems bit loose.. one of the stalls won’t light up using it, thought was broken but works with a Lemax plug.
@@petermcpherson5242 there are many different sizes of plugs Peter. Some of the cheap Chinese chains are poorly made.somewhere on my page there should be a link to the one I have used. If not message me again and I will try and find it for you.

you can also turn off the music of the lemax products
You can turn the sound right down on all of the rides. I usually keep mine low on each ride so that you only hear each ride as you move in close to listen to it. Alternatively I have one ride turned up to provide the music for my whole fairground section
Do you think it’s essential to go over the bandage with another coat of plaster? Iv made an 8 foot mountain rage using expanding foam, started painting today in black but my god, the hellish task of getting in all these tiny holes was tedious. Iv now ordered the plaster of Paris bandage in the hope that it be easier to paint. Really don’t want to paint over that with plaster again as very time consuming. Like Miriam, I’m painting all back then going over with w coats of different shades of grey. Costing a small fortune the amount Iv spent on spray foam, paint and now bandages. Iv got a small 500g bag on POP left, won’t be enough for 8ft as I used 500g just to cover a tunnel I made. How noticeable you think the bandage be under the paint? Might do a test patch on it and see. Also thought of making my own POP sheets with just stick regular bandages in the mix then putting that on. All a bit trial and error, more so error 😂 Sorry for long post and thanks for all the info.
It all depends on the quality of the bandages you use. Some show the mesh base more than others. I have also painted direct onto carved polystyrene and that can be quite effective. The base under my ballroom is painted polystyrene.
So if I set it to 3v for the market stalls would they still work. I have 2 of the 3 wire muilti plugs but I’m concerned now to use them if the 4.5v burns them out. Thought maybe the 3v would put less stress I. The LED. I’m going to buy one of these plugs for my jaegerndorfer ski lift and set this to 6v as I can’t find a uk plug for this by jaegerndorfer. Will try the 3v on one of the market stalls and see if it works. If not I’ll just stick to the lemax muilt plug that I already have.
You can buy new adapters fir your ski lift as I bought one myself. Try Millrace Garden centre in Essex or put a post into one of the Lemax facebook groups.
What about using one of those masterplug voltage adapter? (Argos sells these) you can set the voltage you want on them, the lowest is 3 which is 1.5v lower than a lemax plug and probably equivalent to the same power as the batteries. You could then connect this plug to the daisy chain wire to power several at a fraction of the price of Lemax multi plug. I think I might try this, do you think it would work?
As long as you match the voltage to the voltage of the LED that you are using, it should be fine. I tried a multi adapter but none of the sockets that it came with, fitted the lemax sockets properly. Good luck and let me know how you get on.
Sent you a video of it, I think this one must be on its way out as seems quite clunky.
How noisy is this Ken? I just seen someone selling and sounds loud, seen online that the motor is louder than other pieces. Thanks
I have no problem with noise as it just blends in with all of the other sounds of my fairgroumd.

It was a while ago but I bought it from one of the major online retailers that operate out of garden centres. Mill Race in essex would be a good place to start.
Hi Ken, I find your videos very helpful but I wonder if you could help me out please. I have the lemax main terminal station, the internal bulb has stopped working but unlike my other lighted buildings, there is no hole in the back to change the bulb? How could I get into this to replace please? Thanks.

you've made me realize that I never created part two, any way you can see the finished result if you look at my full video of my village 2023. it is still a 'Black run ' but no actual deaths have occurred yet. lol
Hi Ken, I'm just curious. Why wouldn't you want to use the Lemax moonlanders?
Good question Tim. There is talk of the connections changing on new versions making them incompatible with older models. it is also a good idea to have a simple, low cost alternative which could be used in many more situations. LEDs are so versatile and can be fitted where a moonlander couldn't fit. You may have seen that I have fitted them to food vans, market stalls and kiosks etc.
Does it make a lot of noise?
No it runs very smoothly with a lovely “Indiana Jones” style soundtrack.

No I haven’t as I don’t create a Halloween display , I only do Christmas. I know that Jennifer at small scale lights does lots of kits for warhammer and other modellers, so I am sure she could help you if you contact her.

hy ken good video as im thinking of purchasing this item,but one of your cars still wasnt going from the start.also i thought they went round quicker than that.
HI there Shaun, after I did the video I found that if you positioned the cars accurately on the magnets before you started, they all worked perfectly. Personally I thought the speed was ok. I am very happy with the ride.
Looks like you had more luck, this time. I've bought the Santa Carousel. I'm going to unbox it in the coming days and hopefully it's all in one piece.
Ken, does the end fit into a uk plug? Or does it come with one?
The end of the daisy chain connects to the jack on the end of a Lemax power adaptor that would normally go into the socket on a building.
