I've found they just push on, but they are also not the greatest when compared to some other drones I purchased after this one. Still, trust me they'll go on. TBH most of the time I don't fly with them on anyways as i'm mostly over water when I fly

Im not the reviewer but with my experience you have to connect to the drones wifi (it will be on your phones wifi list) then you would need to install the app listed on the manual.

first you need the app that the manual says, the skyhawk vti app or something like that, and make sure its all updated. if you've got the updated app, it will hand-hold you through the setup process. with this drone, i've found a small bit of patience goes a long ways.

I would buy a drone from a hobby rc store knowing you could get extra common batteries. This is important because the drones don't have a very long fly time. Watch flying drone videos ,shop around. Do a little research, if you buy a 100$ drone chances are it won't last, that's what I have been doing looking for a more robust and longer lasting drone. Take your time and spend wisely

@@SamPoffley for this i was using an Ender 3 v2. Nowadays im on a creality k1c and an elegoo neptune 3 pro. My Enders rarely see action anymore.

Revolver ammo in The Long Dark look like .38 Special. It's a rimmed cartridge and a lead bullet, no copper jacket. The .38 special is a rimmed cartridge and the non-jacketed lead bullet is characteristic of low velocity rounds.

In 2024, I would save for a better one to be brutally honest. Just a 50ish more jump in price would get you far better quality from Amazon. However, this was my FIRST drone, and I still use it for its intended purpose as a navigational spotter. My nav spotter doesn't need all the bells and whistles most other drones need. I'm a firm believer that tech should not have the "all rounder" job.

I have during last year's salmon runs. i used them as a flasher variant when i was bobber dogging. it works as a decent enough flasher

I had that problem with the reel too until I switched to equivalent braid, used an appropriate weighted lure, etc.

@@handymije5548 i just encountered this yesterday. Go to DJI app and grab the new update. Then launch the app and update your drones firmware. Theres been some recent updates i got whammied with that im looking into this next week.

the app's name is the same as the drone, well at least on Android / Google Play it is

To be fair, it was 2am after kayaking for hours, and working hours before that. If you have a video on your channel you've shot after being up for 15+ hours I'd love to watch it and give you an honest critique as well :)

I totally agree to that statement. having to use my phone as the memory source is a small downfall

if this is the skyhawk drc 447 it has a 32 gb micro sd on the bottom

I normally do have waders at least available to me, especially when I'm at the lake I found this at.

Late August of 2022 is when I went out there. I'm looking forward to another trip out there probably late August this year also.

The Skyhawk is a tricky one. What part are you stuck at in the calibration? Most of the time with VTI, its just patience for the GPS to connect first

Step 1 is creating the account in the DJI Store. Is that where you are hung up on?

I made an account and got the launch screen on my phone. But I can't actually check to the drone to do the quick share files
