I remember A E Piggot & Sons, on Eastern Boulevard Leicester in 1990's, huge scrappers shredding old london underground trains, old BR freight locomotives, passenger locomotives and coaching, few goods wagons. The site today is housing, a Tesco, and takeaways. Point I'm making is that even big machinery meets it's end. Though this equipment looks fairly new.
