    I don't know what this is specifically for as far as accessibility goes, but I know that as a person with ADHD and autism, I label most of the things in my house. Every light switch and cabinet and just about anything else that makes sense. It helps me to put things away correctly and without overthinking it and remember things. It makes life a lot easier. Plus it comes in really handy when I have guests over because they don't have to ask me where things are. They just have to look at the labels to know where the silverware drawer is or what a certain switch does or what certain things are for.

    I have 2 questions 1 is how many waytags can you have in use at 1 time and how do you delete a waytag if it's a sticker and you have to throw the sticker out and no longer want it and what are we going to do when we tag discontinues the products all these tags we are depending on when no longer be read

    • @WayAround
      @WayAround ปีที่แล้ว

      You can have unlimited WayTags in use. As far as deleting - the best way is to write over the tag with all new information. Select the write button to get a blank slate, add the info you want, then write to the tag. It will save the new info and the old info will be gone.

    So, I received the WayAround system for Christmas. I attached the oval button way tag to a silicone band (I tried both medium and large silicone bands), by looping the band through the hole on the way tag and wrapping the end of the band around the tag to keep it secure. The thing I can’t figure out is how to secure the band on the plastic bag (gallon Ziploc) of food, since it’s not A solid object like a box, freezer container, etc. Any tips for attaching the way tag to freezer items like those stored in a Ziploc? Thank you so much!

    • @WayAround
      @WayAround ปีที่แล้ว

      Merry Christmas to you - what a great gift! You may need to wrap the silicone band around the ziplock bag a couple of times. If there's extra plastic, you could roll it. Another option is to drop the button inside the bag. You'll be able to scan it through the plastic, and you can put the button in the dishwasher.

    Wish these tags had the possibility of recording voice as an option in addition to text. This would make these tags useful to users of other languages as well.

    • @WayAround
      @WayAround 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the suggestion about adding a voice recording, Colvin. You can enter information in any language that the smartphone recognizes. The user interface is currently English-only, but when you put in a description or other details you can type in whatever language you prefer. I always recommend using the Custom detail template for entering details in languages other than English. That allows you to write headings and the text in your preferred language.

      In addition to the app (which is free), you'll also need some smart WayTags. They come as stickers, magnets, buttons, and clips. You choose a WayTag based on what you want to label. Thanks for the video how do use the WayAround tags on multiple items around the house and including in the kitchen files in my home office and a number of other places for my clothing and so on one thing I would suggest is instead of trying to do the list like you mention just add an Amazon echo into your kitchen and then that way you just tell your echo add product whatever to whichever shopping list and you can have multiple shopping list for each store that you use so if you have a bulk food store like BJ’s or Costco you say Alexa add whatever product to the Costco shopping list same thing with your Publix or Winn-Dixie or whatever store it is your house so the Amazon echo creates all of this and then that shopping list is available on the app on your phone very handy use it all the time

    • @WayAround
      @WayAround 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can tag just about anything! You would want to choose the type of WayTag based on what you are tagging. There are two styles of buttons for clothes - one for sewing and one that can be used as a safety pin. Stickers or clips work well for files and documents. Check out some of the other videos for more ideas, and you can also visit our blog at WayAround.com/blog
