    I'm trying this first

    I just chopped off the driven mount on my trailmaster after I got into wreck, and it was quite damaged...put a new torque converter on with back plate, and lined it up, and its smooth riding again👍

    Do you think this would work with a little e-bike tire? I can't break the bead with my fingers I've tried I did it once before but I was extremely lucky and by the time I was done my fingers hurt so much and I'm not trying to get them caught in between the bead and the frame.

      @@dhippstarr it did. Having it in the vise actually did a lot of good because it held it in one spot for me. Tire to small to break the bead just with the vise but I was able to use a dull pry bar to get into it and move the seam until it broke. Thanks for the video. The vise allowed me to do it because I was getting pretty peeved off lol. That's why I came here 🤣

      The tank has a bolt that holds it on the frame located under the seat front. Remove seat two bolts and then remove the tank bolt. Disconnect the fuel line and slide the tank out toward the rear of the bike.

    I know this was a year ago. But any chance you could help me on a build I'm currently working on? I have a doodlebug db30 straight frame. It has front and rear suspension. Does this plate work on that frame? I'm having issues. My built motor is throwing chain constantly.

      @@dhippstarr Oh, it is original? I see, it looks really nice. I used to own a Pagsta 50cc back in 2014 but sadly I sold it a year later and I regret it ever since LOL, been trying to find one but they are really hard to come by these days. Such beautiful little bikes. It will be interesting to follow your work with it. :)

    • @dhippstarr
      @dhippstarr ปีที่แล้ว

      The first hit is a and extreme angel that compresses the rubber washer and exposes the the bearing to get good purchase on it. The bushing having 2 rubber washers on it that keep it centered, hides the bearing until it is forced out of the way. I apologize for not being more clear, language barrier.... I don't speak fluent Canadian. Lol

    the rear brakes on that frame should be upgraded to a atv brake--that hydrolic brake you have will rip right off with some speed and a adult rider--they were designed for kids going 15mph in the yard

    I had a little red one of these at one time. I brought it home from the landfill, someone had cleaned out their garage. Did next to nothing to get it running, maybe cleaned the carb and spark plug. Someone had parked it and never rode it again. It was hands down the best thing I ever brought home from the dump.

    You may have found out by now but you need to get rid of the green spring if you want quicker 1/8 times. With the green spring the belt shifts way too soon. The yellow spring in the tightest hole is the best for the highest RPM belt shift at full throttle. I don't even bother with the garter springs in the drive pulley. The red spring in the tightest hole is not bad. I test this with a tach that has a max RPM recall function. I run it right up to the belt shift then back off, stop and check the max RPM reading. The highest RPM I got at the belt shift was 4670 with a mild built 224 with 9/60 gearing on my Coleman. Both of my Colemans have belt shifts above 4300 RPM. I also use the tach for max RPM at top speed. These days many go right to the Juggernaut or Tork-Zilla and get all the RPM they want. I don't need one.

    See I purchased a whole Head that was ported for racing and it came with those non hemi Champion Rockers installed already but when I went to remove the CHampion Rockers altogether I could not get them to come out because one of the Nuts that is holding the assembly on the stud is stripped i guess. When i go to take the nut off it just spins and spins and spins but doesn't move out of place at all. ANy advice on how to get a stripped Nut or it could be stripped stud not sure which but what you do in this situation to get the Champion Rockers out ? JUst cut it out with a dremel or something ?

    Engine sounds great. Have you ever done any oil temp testing on these engines? I'm interested in what oil temps others see after running hard.

    • @dhippstarr
      @dhippstarr ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. We are getting data together for a video where we will measure crankcase oil and valve area oil temperature as well as outside cylinder temperature 🌡. We are about to wrap up the Racing season and get back to video production after what might be the biggest Minibike race in history at Farmington Dragway in NC November 4th and 5th.
