Do you want to know the story behind this painting and the earrings the muse is wearing?
There’s a touch of my past, my art, and my vision for the future woven into every detail. The logo you see has been with me since 2017-designed by a dear colleague who helped me shape my creative journey.
Back then, I had no idea where my path would lead, but I knew I wanted something timeless, something that would carry me into the world of art, fashion, and beyond.
And here we are today, turning that dream into reality✨
These earrings are a little glimpse into what’s coming…or maybe they’re just a beautiful moment in time.
Who knows what’s next? 😉✨

😍Maybe it’s an addiction… but once you start collecting art, it’s hard to stop! 😄 Last year, Michelle and her amazing family got hooked with Lumineux de Chanel-an original masterpiece 💜 And this year? They couldn’t resist Cendre Chanel from 2019, and made me frame it exactly the same way! 🖤 Both pieces are perfectly aligned on the wall, complementing their stunning interior🤩 It’s a true glam-wa...

I had the pleasure of hosting a private art class with sisters Melissa and Pauline. They both lead busy lives, balancing work and family, but today was all about me-time-a day for them to enjoy together and explore their creative sides. Both sisters wanted to create a piece that resembled themselves, and they share a love for soft pink and gold. They each created a beautiful muse with long flow...

After following me on Instagram for over a year, she was excited to recreate my artwork Paris, adding her own unique touch. We worked closely together, incorporating personal details like the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame into her design. After ...

Aww so cute ❤
Such a great video.❤
Thank you!!
Great tips! I also love using AI art from Pinterest. So many beautiful images to take inspiration from.
It really is!
It’s so good to hear about all of your doubts and struggles because we all have them too and you show what we can achieve when we overcome them ❤
Thank you so much for sharing all this, Lots of good tips that are very helpful ❤
You are so welcome!
My favorite muse is the Queen Bee. She is so elegant and reminds us of the importance of bees. 🐝👸
Who would’nt want to live in a gorgeous gallery! The view is a great plus too, very inspiriational. Do people from the other building wave at you sometimes? 😂 I would haha. Ps. Your pianoplay is amazing
They are so lovely ❤. When painting portraits like these I always feel like they already exist and by painting them we pull them into our 3D world to meet them.
Prachtig appartement!
Love it❤
That’s the good thing about teaching yourself from Timelapses You’re just lucky the paint is sticking to the canvas. I have been doing portraits for the last six months. I haven’t really settled on a style yet. It seems to depend on the subject or at least the reference. I think I might have two or three styles but mostly it comes out how it comes out, it feels like I don’t have much say in the matter
Thanks so much for stopping by! Sounds like your portraits have a mind of their own! 🎨 It’s amazing how the creative process takes us on unexpected journeys. Keep experimenting, those different styles are all part of your unique artistic voice. After all, sometimes the paint knows where it needs to go before we do!
Me gustaría aprender contigo a dibujar . ❤❤❤💎💎💎
Hi Wendy, this was an enlighting video. Never heard about the brow art classifications so I learned something new. How would you classify your own art? Also, I saw a discussion on Threads the other day that began with the question if people who made art were also collecting art and most artists said yes. This was particularly interesting bc on IG they often recommend artist to not use hashtags that attract artists bc they supposedly would not be your audience. But the discussion proved this wrong. Both artists and non artists can be collectors. And I myself also relate to this. Especially since starting my own journey I became more interested in collecting art. And when I will start to make money from art I probably will also buy more, because I'm growing such a passion for it. Thanks for the video! 🩷
Loved to see all that you use! Using that old lantern is such a good idea, it looks so fancy! Do you use expensive brushes? And what are your thoughts on them regarding quality?
Can you drew not just talk
Ah, a fan of live art in action, I see! 😄 But I promise, if I ‘drew’ without talking, you’d miss out on all the juicy secrets behind those beautiful faces! Maybe in the next video, I’ll let my brush do the talking. 😉
Thank you so much for showing your art material! I have a question about the paper that you use: I live in Germany and as Hahnemühle is a German company I love to use their papers, too. What is the name of the paper you use? I could not found any 400 gr paper so far in their shop, but two series have 450 gr, so I wonder. I would highly appreciate your answer, for I also work with mixed media and it is not easy to find a paper that goes with a lot of watery layers.
Hello, I googled it for you: www.hahnemuhle.com.pl/upload/KATALOG_Hahnemuhle_Artist_2022.pdf then scroll to page 96 (mounting boards) there you will see a list, the one of 400grs is at te bottom. I choose bright white but you can also choose natural white (which is actually cream) Now you only have to find a store in your area or online that can deliver it to you! Good luck I hope this helps!
@@wendybuiter Thank you so much, that helps a lot!
Such a nice encouraging video!🌱
Hi Olivia, thanks so much and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

How come musicians can play other musicians work but painters an illustrators get hung out to dry when we do a copy?
Thanks for bringing up this thought-provoking question! It’s true that different creative fields have their own norms and expectations. In music, covering or interpreting another artist’s work is a well-established practice, often seen as a tribute. In visual art, there’s sometimes more sensitivity around originality and ownership, likely because a single image or style can be very distinctive and tied to a specific artist. However, I believe that both musicians and visual artists start by learning from others, and the key is how they evolve and personalize what they’ve learned. It’s not about copying, but about growing through influence and finding your own voice, something I dive into in this video. 😊
THESE ARE SO CUTE THOO
Thanks so much ❣️
I have a different issue. It’s not fear, I have just been painting for 3 years. And have been copying other artists. On purpose. I have learned by doing this but now want to venture out. I don’t know where to get ideas. Where do you get ideas?
Hi there! I get my ideas from a lot of things, and I even made a video about that! Perhaps you would like to watch it, you can find it here: th-cam.com/video/r5S10Y3oncs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KoXm_PjBsL8o2W8p Let me now if it answers your questions, or that, maybe, I should dive deeper into that topic :-)
Omg that is the most beautiful drawing I ever seen 😮
Thank you so much 😀
First of all, you cannot compare Pollocks drip paining’s to anything anyone else was doing. Secondly, to quote Picasso “Good artist copy, great artist steal”.
Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with us!
All is perfect!!❤❤❤ 💎💎💎
Thanks for your support 💓😀🎨💃🏼
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Faints...every genre in history is copyright infringement in 2024 😂 🙆

1 set intuition and be specific 2 imagine what you smell hear see when you achieve your goals 3 feel your emotions 4 visualize setbacks and strategies to overcome that 5 repeat for a few minutes

If you want to eventually sell a copied piece ( a rendition of an old master) sign the piece with the ORIGINAL ARTIST/ "your artistic version of the paiting/ your name. ALWAYS. ALWAYS get the permission of a living artist or photographer before any attempt to copy their work. Save a written copy of permission for your records. Always sign their name FIRST/ YOUR NAME second. It's nice to include a tribute on the back to the original artist. Then you can sell the art. Never just sign your own name to an original art piece without giv!ng the origninal artist their due credit. Never steal someone else's intellectual property!
Thank you for the detailed explanation regarding copyright and educational use. It’s important to respect the work of original artists and give proper credit where it’s due. This ensures we uphold ethical standards in the art community. I appreciate you sharing this information for everyone’s benefit!
according to the US Copywrite Laws - copying STYLE is not an infringment. Your art syle is not copy right protected. Copying someone's art IS an infringment.
Thanks for your comment! You’re right that under US copyright law, style itself isn't protected, but copying a specific piece of art without permission is. I always strive to respect other artists' work and encourage creativity within legal boundaries. Appreciate your understanding and support!
I wish you had painted while you were talking. This is just another lecture video.
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your suggestion. The reason I decided to read from a script while talking into the camera is to ensure that my story is clear and coherent. As a non-native English speaker, I find it helpful to use a teleprompter to avoid getting mixed up in my story. In the B-roll, you can see me painting, which I hoped would add to the visual interest. I’ll definitely consider ways to incorporate more live painting in future videos to make them even more engaging. Thanks for your understanding and support!
You are the best !!Blessings ❤❤❤💎💎💎🙏
☺️ I’m so happy to read your supportive comments!!
Thank you for all the examples of artists being inspired by other artists and how they gave their own unique twist to the inspiration that they found. I found this very helpful! 😊💫
You are so welcome!
