    I don't know why everyone thinks aligning the outer edges of the pulleys does anything. If the outer edge of the pulleys are not the same thickness, this method does not work, which I find to be in most cases. This is why I can never use laser alignment tools.

      Hello! This is very close to a 1.625” bore (41.4mm ~= 1.630”). Dodge can do 1.625” as standard with a twin-tapered bushing output style on a size 68 and 88 RHB and MSM. We don’t have 1.625” as standard for straight hollow bore, although we could do a special for size 68 and 88. This could also allow you to do 41.4 mm exactly if necessary. However, I would highly recommend using standard offerings since specials have a higher price and lead time.       I think they are very good reducers, Stobber is also good because of its keyless system, it is practical. but Dodge is also very good! I also think that all reducers are good, as long as they are well calculated for the application!

    Do yo recomend this model for gypsum in a screw conveyor? In horizontally placed screw conveyor there is no problem but in plant we have a few in almost 25 degrees in those there is a constant leaking of material eventhough we are using braided seals on them the gypsum is always trying to scape from de conveyor. Wish kind of bearing do you recomend in this case?

      The slit in the QD bushing allows the inner diameter of the bushing to shrink as the set/grub screws are tightened, thus clamping on the shaft. Without the slit, the bushing would resist compression. The slit will allow the bushing to fit snugly on shafts with different diameter tolerances (shaft might be designed slightly oversized or undersized depending on the equipment), while providing consistent increase in diameter based on the wall thickness of the bushing (economy style plastic sleeve rotation bearings will also have a slit, despite serving a different function).

    On the TA6307H gearbox there was a part listed as (R-906402) that was included. This video did not show how to install this part. Please advise.

    That using the third hole to remove the bushing from the flange sounds good in theory, but not so easy in practice with a R25 coupling that's been in place in a 100%+ humidity environment for 22 years.

This material is not ideal for highly humid or corrosive environments; however, we do offer this series in stainless steel which may be a potential alternative in your current application.
