But typical western media is always mispreading news about China, because the jealousy doesn't stop. But thanks to visa free for many European countries, people starting to see the real China now.

At my age with family and children in mind, i would prefer to raise them in a safe environment, non of the bs transgender rights stuff they teaching kids in western society. Like you said, Safety, Convenience, Living Cost that's the main concern for a family guy and UK even now Canada couldn't provide that. For me China would be great but like many other Chinese, if they feel it's too competitive for their children then Malaysia is not a bad choice for a 2nd home. Many of my Chinese friends chose to settle in Malaysia because they speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

"Don't respect personal space...because they don't have that much personal space". We live in the U.S. and were in a motel with my family a few years ago. I was in the swimming pool area with my 2 gorgeous daughters in their swim suits. The swimming pool area was just beside the check-in area, BIG windows, , see-thru all-window door leading to the outside, etc. You would be surprised how many people thought we were their entertainment while they were waiting to check in. Would actually stare at us, like we were a bunch of zoo animals, which they had to turn around for...I guess I would have just did a glance to see what was in there and then not look again...gave whoever their privacy. When 2 Chinese women literally were staring continuously at my daughters, and obviously making comments about them, pointing at them...I, as their mom, literally walked up to the women who were staring at us on the other side of the window, like "Yeah, these aren't 1-way windows...I can see you too!" Geez! Anyway, the women turned away really quickly and must have said something to their Chinese men and other women who were with them...pointing at me to them. Believe it or not, we started having an older Chinese man literally stand outside the all-window door, with a smirk on his face, and literally STARE at my girls. He didn't even pretend to not be looking, and he saw that me, their mom, was there and saw him...couldn't have cared less. Just literally stood outside the all glass door and STARED at my girls. And other Chinese men, plus other Chinese women went up to the big windows and started staring at us too...again. Made my daughters so uncomfortable, we just left. Yes, they are definitely not used to personal space, that's for sure! LOL
