SWIMMING WITH A BABY SHARK!| Exploring Flores with new friends, moped riding & snorkelling🤿
After our boat trip to Flores we spent 4 days in Labuan Bajo which we knew very little about before getting there. The town had a lot to offer and it has become more touristy in recent years but we headed out on bikes and were immediately met with stunning views, jungles, and waterfalls (if you know where to look)! We also had some of our best snorkelling here and we finally saw a bay shark!

In Bali we were joined by Poppy’s Mum and Terry where we continued our adventures in Bali and on the first night were amazingly lucky to witness baby turtles hatching out of the sand! After a longggg night in Singapore Airport we arrived in Lombok, Indonesia, and spent the afternoon relaxing. Our final destination in the Philippines was Bohol and we spent it hiring a moped to explore the island. We visitied a Tariser sanctuary, the chocolate hills, and Loboc river, before spending a 16 hour layover in Singapore. We flew to Cebu and spent 4 days in Moalboal and then 4 days on Siquijor island. In Moalboal we were lucky enough to be able to snorkel and see the famous sardine run, and there were millions! After a very long journey and wait at the airport we finally made it to Siargao just in time for the most perfect sunset. We started off our Philippines travels with a night bus to Banaue to visit the Batad rice terraces which are sometimes known as the eighth wonder of the world! In 3 days in East Java we scaled a waterfall, woke up at midnight for sunrise at Mount Bromo, and hiked 1.5 hours in the dark to the top of Mount Ijen! To say we were tired after it all is an understatement, but they may have been some of our favourite days travelling so far. Been looking out for your videos. Me and my husband are heading that way in a couple of weeks. How is Labuan Bajo for vegans (me) and vegetarians (husband). Really enjoyed all your videos by the way.
Thank you so much! 😊 Our next video (which we hope to post in the next week) is our time in Labuan Bajo which should show some of the places we ate. We didn’t struggle to find veggie/vegan food as there are quite a lot of more western restaurants in the town, slightly harder to find vegan Indonesia food here though

I’m just editing the next video now and I’ve realised that we mainly ate at the restaurant in our hostel called Seaesta (open to the public) and the food there was amazing! The hostel itself is beautiful with great views and a small pool so worth visiting for a meal if you have the time ☺️
