I've had my 2126 since last August and just hit 50hrs yesterday. It's definitely a nice tractor..it's my second Mahindra. Other than the brake safety switch issue (if you live in cold enough climates like me) the one issue I have with this tractor is the pump flow. It's almost ridiculous how quick the loader is and when you couple that with the cable operated joystick it makes operation of the loader trickier. The loader on my eMax (valve block mounted stick) I can work that thing like a second arm. I really like the tractor so far and part of why I bought it is for the joystick but I'm not real happy about the functionality of it so far. If the stick was smoother then I suppose someone who is on the tractor every day for 8+ hours could probably work that loader like a mofo but for the average home steader it's not ideal.

Only problem that I see right off, is that the angle controls for the blade aren’t on the joystick for the blade. Talk about a pain in the ass trying to backfill

I think you should next time compare a ventrac to a tractor of equal price. You could have purchased three mahendras for the price of that ventrac

I love Mahindra and just purchased my second one. But this sales BS is insufferable. Sounds like a John Deer video. Don’t stoop to their levels. Just say the key features and let the product speak for itself.

In this application, the ventrac wins hands down. I've been operating tractor with brushhog and ventrac for several years now. The tractor sits most days now. I live on steep ground, which is really not the case in this test, but I have to back up and go forward when using the tractor, even if it's in open and known areas. Where the ventrac becomes less advantageous is in open flat meadows. The tough cut bogs down in tall grass pretty easy and speed needs to be dropped into the 2-3mph range, where my 45hp cab tractor can stay in the 3-4mph range. However, in that comparison I'm comparing a 45hp tractor to a 31 hp ventrac, and a 5' brush hog to a 5'6" toughcut, so all things considered, I think the ventrac is a better mowing machine when comparing like equipment. If all I was doing was mowing, I wouldn't own my tractor anymore

i just stumbled across this ventrac thing. my deer property has a lot of clay mixed with dirt...creating THICK STICKY MUD where 2wd tractors can get stuck. How does the ventrac do in THOSE conditions?

I mow interstates and can tell you a front mount mower is a huge plus , ventracs are awesome , with available front mount mowers catching on a mid size or large farm tractor with right and left drop downs is by far the way to go over a conventional pto driven

This is bias. Or you don't know how to run a tractor. I can see how a ventrac absolution has its purpose steep inclines wet or mushy wet conditions absolutely. I've never backed in before I went where I was going to mow anyways. Only when mowing by a pond or under a tree. It's actually better with a tractor in unknown areas with a tractor with front end loader. Put the bucket down to help fold the high grass over and see better what you are about to cut. You have a way better chance of seeing something before your mower hits it. The tire tracks you would get with anything zero turn, riding mower, tractor so that shouldn't count.

Mahindra is stepping up great features and good design. I have the emax 20s love it , now I want the 1100 series !

here's a tip for your next video - when you have the bucket up and you are looking "under the hood" beneath the bucket, install the lift cylinder lock bar! it would also be a good idea to mention this "safety step" to your viewers.

The steel is also Chinese. Drive motors are not transmission 🤦‍♂️🤭 it’s just two speed drive. XCMG do not make or design their own machines, it’s all direct copies of other brands.

XCMG only became the 3rd largest manufacturer by bullying the Chinese into purchasing the brand or you cannot participate or do any government work or large projects.

There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month._*
