The Megiddo Expedition has recently
focused on the Middle Bronze Age.
The site provides the fullest sequence
of the Middle Bronze in the Levant,
with a unique accumulation of a large
number of phases. This sequence was
carefully investigated - stratigraphically,
ceramically and chronologically. Topics
to be discussed are: Stratigraphy and
Chronology (including radiocarbon
results); fortifications; evidence for
commercial contacts with the Far East;
burials and a DNA
