Carmen was magnificent! Lonette was so fabulous and yet they found the perfect Sister for the replacement. Tika was great, but nobody can replace Irene Cara.

Just an ICONIC movie. Timeless! One that fans watch again and again. Fabulous singing and acting by all but especially by both ladies who played Sister (Carmen and Lonette).

This song was a highlight of the original movie, the Aretha soundtrack and the En Vogue cover but Carmen's vocals on this, although I liked her on other things, pales by comparison! They should have let Jordin Sparks lead this one!

Original version was the best to me. This version of the movie had to much flash and trash. I felt the actresses deserved better parts than these , These woman have class and this was below them.
