I’m a fine artist and illustrator who lives in Long Beach, California. I’m an Arizona native who learned a love of hard work and the outdoors at my family’s ranch. The themes in my artwork are evidence of being raised across the United States, and show a love of life and a curiosity of the unknown. I teach art and continue to take classes further honing my own skills as an artist. How to draw animals from memory. A art tutorial/lesson video on how to learn to draw animals from memory. Draw what you can of an animal without a photo reference, then draw the same animal using a photo reference. Doing this will help identify what you don't know and will increase your visual memory/library.

Was Plata a cattle dog? She looks a lot like my dog- The ears, snout, etc. My dog is 1/2 Australian Cattle Dog & 1/2 Husky with a little bit of Australian Shepherd thrown in. He's the best dog. He comes downstairs and peeks around the corner- then I say " where did you get those rabbit ears?" Great painting, 👍 I enjoy your channel 😀. Peace

CrazyDaisy Terra thank you. I haven’t thought of doing a rodeo skeleton painting, but that sounds cool. I’m doing a lot of traditional western art right now. Maybe when I’m done with this series I can paint a few more skeleton paintings.
