350z GTR door stop replacement (Keep your door from closing by itself)
มุมมอง 2.8K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video I go over how to fix one of the most annoying parts of owning a Z or G35, that being the doors that never stay open. This video shows the proper solution for this issue by retro fitting a GTR door stopper for your Z or G. This solution is simple and effective and will save many legs from being destroyed by the self closing doors! I hope this video is useful and entertaining. This ...

Bro I love your OEM + style steering wheel upgrade! Looking to do something similar on my Z. Do you mind linking where you got that?
Thank you! It’s actually a steering wheel cover that you stitch on I got it from Amazon.
@@dominickrutolo you stitch it on top of the existing leather? Can you link it?!
Dude I fuckin love you for this!!!!! Hands down the most annoying thing about the Z!!! Thank you for this share🎉
Glad I could help!
My 370z needs this as well!
Wow! I’m surprised the 370z has this issue as well. I’m not certain that this exact solution is compatible with the z34 but it’s worth a shot!
@@dominickrutolo Yeah it's annoying unless you've parked on a completely flat surface!! Could be one of those nissan things like the door lock actuator (they all go bad!!).
I just let the door slam lol auto close lol
Auto close has its perks not going to lie!
@@dominickrutolo 😅
Cool. Sometimes it's just annoying when the door wants to just close by itself. Doesn't help the doors are super long and heavy. I basically park in open areas only because the normal spots are just too tight to get out of the car.
One of my main reasons for doing this, I’d always have trouble balancing the door in tight parking spots especially when you have things to unload.
Thank you! 🤙🏾
Glad I can help !
Hey brother! I love your videos, especially your door hinge one. I also do like your set up! Question for you, are you running on stock suspension? If so, what's your tire and wheel set up looking like?
Appreciate the support! I’m planing to do a whole overview video on the car soon which should help give you an idea of the setup. But for now I’m on bc coilovers and Advan wheels.
My auto closing door is its best feature. Never doing this bro. If your door wins the fight, you need to get smarter or buy a different car.
The door has won one to many fights, I had to throw in the towel lmao
First video i see about this issue, great video!
Thank you! I appreciate it
I for one enjoy my automatic closing door, feels futuristic lol
@@2MattH96 not gonna argue with that one, it’s a like rolls Royce 😂
Awesome solution for this issue! How did you find it?
Thank you! There was a post on a Facebook forum that showed this solution. So I figured to make a video to help others with the process!
great vid. good upgrade.
Appreciate it! Hope it was helpful
It's not a problem it's a feature
I can’t argue with that, sometimes the auto closing doors were useful!
@dominickrutolo I don't like to be that person but I'd like you to give my comment a pin or heart
@@theanimeotaku2794 fair enough 🤝🏼
@dominickrutolo thanks bro bro..
Good video bro
Thank you, Joshua !
I got 2007 never had a problem
Lucky! From what I’ve seen many have this issue depends on several factors I’d imagine age, usage etc…
@@dominickrutolo really lucky indeed. everyone i know have the "automatic closing'' doors haha it sucks sometimes... but i will do this trick! thanks for sharing
@@Wessel99 yeah most Zs have the auto closing door feature lmao
Nice find, was getting tired of always holding the door open with the leg, especially when vacuuming lmao, ordering these now!
Exactly, now I forget to close my door!

Thank you for providing the part numbers here for other viewers! Much appreciated!
nice video ! Gotta give credit to Trumpet VQ tho
I originally saw the fix on a Facebook group, but now that you mention it yeah massive credit to those people and anyone who also covered the topic!
Thank you so much!!!
You’re welcome! Glad I could help!
do you got the link of where u bought them ?
I don’t have the exact link for the seller I purchased them through, but with the part numbers in the video and a general search on eBay you should have several options to purchase! Sorry hope this helps.
