wow im looking back on this now and i dont think i'll ever forget how this was one of the best years of my life.

HWS is playing this again this year. We're playing at Avery Fisher Hall and a new Music for All regional festival that we're hosting. It's a big year!

At 6:18. Those two measures of pure percussion are my favorite part of the entire song. We're playing it in my wind ensemble :)

Just saw this show on another vid and this is the best audio recording of it yet without too much audience voices.

@laxlou12 Who wrote the drill doesn't really matter the point is that if the drill was more challenging the show would be more effective visually.

@MrBalls401 Well the battery's music is boring and they aren't very skilled. So I would either train them better or take them out.

not very legato... lot of rough spots by individuals.... 2nd mvt could be a lot more musical...... national clinic or not if its rough its rough...

I was in this band when Nichols first came, and I can't believe the difference he has made. It's like I'm watching a professional band and color guard.

whoa... im from ohio and were doing this for our show and it sounds so much different. for instance you guys have a different way to open (we just use mello phones to open) also u guys have alot more drum breaks(which i like cuz im snareline) and also ur guys timpani player dont suck lol

a cool middle school song is PROPHESY but its actually highschool but we have a awesome band teacher who we can make fun of and cusses its funny and he gives us highschool music

im a freshman in the Jenks Wind Symphony, and were one of the top concert bands in the nation. and we read this to see if we would play it for contest, even though were not there's no way an 8th grade band could play this. trust me

I played this my freshman year, and i still love it, haha. My favorite is the 3rd movement :) go Clarinets! :P

Even though we have a low student population, doesnt mean we can become a big band. next year, the avg recuit is 15 people per yearsand avg loss(12th graders) is 1 person. So far, were losing about 6 people in 4 years. thats 60 avg of people will join our band in those 4yrs.

not as of right now. we have now 28 members and next year, we will hit 42 members. So about 4 to 6 years from now.

I meant 100 memabers in five years. maybe six years from now.

this piece is by frank sullivan. it was originally called "rhythyms of a city," but we changed the name for our show... i don't know why though.

MAN THEY HAVE COME A LONG WAY SINCE 1977 when i went to Roxbury...fantastic..they should have won

I tried getting more guard in my Yamaha Cup video. Now I probably will get complaints from the band. I can't win. Terrific performance in Giants Stadium.

im in the color guard in the roxbury high school i the one with the long hair and i want to know y that u record the band and not the color guard.

We were supposed to play there but our band was a bit not missing there homecoming dance. My boss was not happy three days before this.
