The spool had line memory, I would buy new line and respool 8lb mono. Also for the float setup use a small hook to a 2' leader, attach size 6 swivel, then two to three split shot and the bobber above on the mainline. That way you will avoid tangles in casting, and can adjust the bobber up or down to fish the correct depth. The lighter the line the further you can cast, but 4-6lb line would be perfect for sunfish and small trout/bass

First time you didn't flip your bell

I’ve had good luck off red worms!! 🪱. But usually I get mealworms for small fish!! And use a bobber, makes it’s really easy and simple! I use a bobber for red worms as well

First priority, when on a fish, if its out the water, carefully remove the hook, using discourger if necessary , make sure the fish’s weight is supported as soon as possible, so its not just dangling about on its lip. You wont damage the fish’s mouth that way, AND THEN, mess about with reel after the animal is safely back in the water. Other than that, love the passion and vibe!

1st tip is to flip the switch on the back of the reel so it only spins in the direction which retrieves the line into the reel, instead of spinning both ways. 2nd at this spot where you’re catching smaller panfish like this try using a smaller hook. 3rd try to set the drag on the top of the reel at about the same tension that you think the fish you’re catching will pull. If you’re catching smaller fish set it a little looser, for big fish you want it to be tighter, you can feel how tight you’re adjusting the drag by pulling some line out after you make an adjustment to feel how tight you have the drag set. You’ll get a feel for it eventually. About your broken rod tip, you can trim it down to the next eye and just have a little bit shorter rod, or they sell rod tips so that you can replace the rod tip. Hope these tips help, fishing isn’t super easy to pick up but you’ll get a hang of it and be a pro in no time 👍 Great video man, keep gettin out there and catching some more fish! You need to open the bail arm when you cast

There should be a small button that clicks back and forth on the front of the reel that points away from you. Flick it the other way. Your reel was spinning backwards when you were trying to get the bluegill

Too much line on that reel.

I have a 2023 RAM 1500 HEMI Tradesman. I absolutely love this truck! I had Toyota trucks on my channel so you can imagine all the hate I received lol. I’ve already done mods like a 3.5 inch lift and 35x12.50 tires. My favorite truck I’ve owned.

A couple tips and pointers is I would set my drag a little tighter so you can set the hook on the fish and also I would put your bobber lower so there’s less line from the hook. Also depending on what size hook you have you may want to try bigger or smaller

How do you like the Max Z reel. And how does it feel and work for you. And what size of reel I want the mini Max Z size 10 reel for 2-4 lbs line for stream trout fishing 🎣 and is it better than the Max X the price point $17 difference between the two. Or size is all the same thing in bearing amount matters is 5 the best starting point. That was not a trout not anything I've seen is a walleye closers then trout 🤔

Ozark trail has the new fishing bags our ther black and off white with no zipper and less side pockets and has netting on the sides and front. I want the old stiles back like the one you have. Just work's good and roomie. Nice show

Hi! i want to get a jeep wrangler but i do not know if it would be a good choice for someone living in the city? I would be using the jeep for weekends and wanted to know if it is a good idea for me to do that? I have 2 dogs which loves to go to the mountains or beach and the jeep would be a nice vehicle to use. watcha think?
