Make sure that the worms you got aren't the invasive Asian jumping worm. They look very similar to regular earthworms are are harmful. If you feed those to your fish, it wont be good for them because inside them, they keep the metals from the soil they live in.

Minnows are the worst thing to feed your fish. Especially if you get them from places like petsmart.
