    Man, "Ceed GT T-GDI 1.6, which is lighter and basically the same car" is not true. The Xceed has higher clearance (crucial for many people), totally different shock absorbers, bigger boot, bigger space inside, more comfortable interior, it's smoother and quieter.. It's too different and worth the higher price.

      See it as the comfy soft version of the Ceed GT. Platform and axles are technically still the same. It is just the geometry and the shock absorbers changing how the car feels. Boot is only bigger when you take the floor out. Kia Ceed has 357 litres, XCeed 291 to 426 litres depending on the setting.

    Sister has one of these, such a fun car to drive, yes there's loads of bits that aren't perfect like seating height , steering wheel size/shape etc but those criticisms are minor detail given how much charm they have and noise they make, I absolutely love them. That car sounds lovely🔥🔥

      0-100 official is 5.4 for the type R, besides civic 2021 is twice as heavy and not made for speed, with modified engine the civic does 2.8 i think 0-100 or sth like that

    200 on the display is 185-190 in reality. I think real 0-200 is more than 20 sec. Diesel is lame and stinks really bad.

      Audi digital gauges are not that false. 200 gauge should be like 195 km/h on summer tyres. Same with BMW btw. The 3.0 biturbo diesel engine is really good and makes the car perfect for daily business on the autobahn with 8 to 9 litres on 100km and loads of power. But we agree it is not the same feeling like in a petrol S5. S5 TDI is more like a business car.

      @@jack.9235 See the label as a to-do-list. Owner will swap it soon to a fresh D16Y8 (EJ8 spec). The wing is from "Polybauer". Btw: The single cam VTEC in EJ/EK was always labeled "Si" and the DOHC "SiR". Only exception in Canada where the DOHC was labeled "Si".

      Salut !. Dețin o astfel de mașină, însă cu motor de 1,5 t-gdi 160 HP 253 Nm. Chiar și acest motor (160 hp) este unul foarte economic și potent. Foarte bine antifonată, se conduce foarte bine, mașina este foarte stabilă pe drum și în viraje, confortabilă, iar consumul combinat (oraș-autostradă) este de ~ 6%. Sunt foarte mulțumit de ea. Respect !.

      @@carbittv Of course there is! Gear in S, left foot on the brake, right foot on the accelerator and then release the brake. 0-100kmh = 4,6sec and your stats are wrong. an s5 tdi from 2022 has 341 horses, not 347.

    I was driving both the Abarth 500 and 595 for overall 8,5 years and the amount of quality and performance issues were a real disaster. The cars spent more time at the dealers garage than driving with me. With series 3 of the abarth fiat introduced a new function in the ecu that delivered a total power failure to prevent the cars exhaust engine noise from exceeding the strict noise emission regulations. This was an absolute no-go for me.

      @@carbittv the performance issue happened in any gear one after another for up to full 3 seconds and up to 100 kph from day one on when the car was new. The Koni-FSD suspension system made a terrible rattling noise from day one. After 3.5 years, the strut bearings and wheel bearings were defective and the charge air hose completely broke. At the end the 595 consumed 1 litre of Selenia oil each 1000 km.😞

      @@Ohlukei Very sorry for you. This sounds like a monday car. The issues with struts, suspension and so on is quite normal for this kind of "sports car" as it's quite hard suspension and likely to be driven hard as well. But the oil consumption and performance issues definitely are not. There must already have been an issue with the engine when it was new.

      I think it need's to be warm and be in track mode.

      @@et4633 You need to use track mode and find the rpm where it usually pops (somewhere around 3500-4000 rpm). Then you only repeat touching the pedal and take the foot back while going downhill. So the engine will run in and out gear brake over and over again. While going downhill in 2nd gear you should get the same result. ;-) Works with every car whether turbo or not. You just need to find the rpm and have an exhaust which pops a bit. Transmission and flywheel don't like this so much, so don't do it every day. ;-)

    the acceleration is similar to a remapped 114 cdi with 210hp, but this one can make way more rpm and has a 9G gearbox

      @@patricksee7306 Guys, we are in Germany and there is no 3.0 L anymore in this part of the western world. You can buy V-Cross with 1.9 or nothing. EDIT: www.isuzu-sales.de/d-max/modelle/ Check here if you don't believe us. The acceleration is absolutely normal for the 1.9 and nearly the same like the 3.0 by the way.

      @@patricksee7306 I have a 1.9 Liter in Germany by doublecab and 163 hp. He is a lot faster than 12,9 seconds. My test drive was with a mercedes vito bus w447 163 hp. automatic too. same weight empty = mercedes lost a lot after a good start within about 20 meters. the mercedes should have 9,1 seconds. I think the d-max need about 6 - 7 seconds on dry streets if you want it. The d -max goes a lot better and faster when on start goes from brake and roll half meter or one seconds and than gas !!Other way is put brake and gas by other foot at 2000rpm and go from brake. This d max motor dont like it to go from brake and same fast to gas if you want performance !!!! You see it in video. Rest area from 20 to 100 and 120 !! This are about 6 seconds. No brake to gas at the same time !! Little on roll and you can catch cars by the double hp on sprint to 120 !! Maybee more !!

      That could be the previous d-max with the 1.9 engines.

      You are right 1.9 at 12.7s is good enough because there are still a lot of normal car that are slow like 16s. If using manual maybe it can do below 12s and just good enough for everyday use on highway and offroad.

      I have a 1.9 doublecab automatic LSE 2023 in germany. He is a lot faster than 12 seconds. I will drive the car for long time here. This car makes 100 % fun here too. And its very very fast to drive roundabouts. I have every day go work a 100 % roundabout circle to the autobahn. BMW M6 cabrio lost and Musk bigest tesla too. Brake up at the half circle. And all only with rear drive at dry streets with the standart all terrain wheels.

    Malaysia 1.9 premium spec didnt come with rear diff lock, only available on 3.0 X-terrain. wish malaysia will bring in this Vcross version
