50 seconds < 60 seconds. Fact.
You send an inquiry on DIFFICULTY, you don’t send an inquiry mentioning first names. FACT WRITTEN IN THE RULES AND REGULATIONS
@@leykimayriyou must have a different definition of "fact" and a different set of regulations other than Fig.
@@TheDukerino Give the article saying you send an inquiry mentioning the gymnast’s first name. I DARE YOU
That is my exact point to you in the other thread. There is no "proper" or "required" language for the verbal inquiry as that is all done with the written inquiry after making the initial verbal letting the judges know that there is a dispute coming and to hold up with the proceedings. Your comment is exactly right, i cant show u that in the rules, just as you cant show me what the coach has to say to meet the 1 min requirement. It does not exist.
@@TheDukerino And again, you can argue for the system to change, you CANT argue for a gymnast to be treated differently. The rules state that the coach can send an inquiry on DIFFICULTY. When Cecile mentions the difficulty saying 59, she’s TOO LATE.
❤🎉😢😢😮😅😊😊sogoodtakealottrai gsuchbrills t
Eres muy profesional te felicito❤❤❤
Before the injury, I thought she was going to make the Olympic squad.
Why is it every motion they make has to be named? It's like having different words for walking down the street depending on whether you're carrying something or not or you have to move out of the way of another person.
What a mess. At the end of the day the athletes are being skewed because of the judges and officials failures. At this point give them both bronze and call it a day. These poor athletes
So the 5th should share a medal with the 3rd leaving out the 4th while all of them have different scores? This is the OLYMPICS, not a backyard competition
This video is too late. It's new evidence. If she's allowed new evidence then everyone should be. They need to judge all 3 routines over and come up with the winner. It won't be Jordan because she nearly put her hands down on one of her passes and had a huge deduction on her first pass. Change the rules, then everyone gets a shot to prove they deserved the medal.
Its the only evidence there is. The one minute 4 seconds is based on guesses, assumptions, and wrong information. No "court" hearing gives you 30 minutes to prepare a defense.
And the rules of the Olympics are the rules of the Olympics, under which JC shoulf win the bronze. The use of the CAS is an advisory role. Oh, and one of those CAS judges having a clear conflict of interest.
you're mistaking "new evidence" with "re-evaluation", i don't think they should judge all 3 routines over BUT i do think they should re-consider the BS -0.1 they gave sabrina, people literally showed evidence the same day and they didn't care.. i'd be really surprised if they officially change the scores for jordan after all this because sabrina's case was much more simple and they still didnt gaf
@@TwistedApple there were avenues to protest. They didnt until very very late which was against the rules. Jordans coach protested within the minute rule. So.... i guess its a matter should rules exist and be enforced. You dont want them to be, that's a poor position but certainly an available position.
@@TheDukerino Under no rules should Jordan have this medal. THE PANEL CHEATED. Period.
meanwhile, sabrina voinea never went OOB and there's video proof yet she got a deduction for that lmao.. it's upsetting how this whole thing has turned into "ana and jordan for bronze", but sabrina literally would've still been in 3rd place if not for the -0.1 for NO reason, i hope she hasn't given up fighting yet too because she's the true bronze medallist for me
I agree, and even if you take away the OOB deduction, she also should have been awarded a higher D score.
But as we've seen she needed to submit an inquiry for her score to be changed.
Except she didn’t submit an inquiry for the OOB that’s on her and her coach and she’s out of medal contention, was out of medal contention as soon as the competition ended. So no Sabrina CANT fight it, she literally has no grounds. You can try to change a score after the competition is over.
@@Qalicja her coach literally DID submit an inquiry but the judges thought she was only inquiring about her D score, and although she could've been inquiring about her D score (because that was also incorrect) the faulty brained judges still failed to remove the penalty even after they supposedly reviewed the routine
@@CarissaHelmer88 she did submit an inquiry within time and it was accepted, but they still did not change her D score which fair enough because her 'Popa' was a bit iffy, however the ND should not exist. they used AI and cameras instead of the usual people in corners with flags, AI IS NOT A VALID REPLACEMENT
The video isn't clear when the exact second the score was posted. Is it posted technically a second before on the board? You had the crowd before Jordan's reaction and dispalyerd by NBC so if you think about the time the crowd had and reading comprehension time (then do they also count the time they came to teh score and the seconds it takes to display it?). Then yes they are saying inquiry for Jordan several times but the first time it seems she might not be in hearing range, the second time she most likely is and that is when someone asked what she was saying and repeats a 3rd time which is appears close enough now but at that time may have been out of time (but again the clock count down isn't clear in the video - or probably anywhere based on how this was ran). Just because something is said doesn't make it valid until it is clearly heard. The clock looks like it could start between 31:50-54 just based on crowd reaction and time to read and recognize, but did the time start a second or two even sooner then that even... who knows. There are people saying she was saying it to eh wrong person the first time, but they just finished trying to put an inquiry so I'm pretty sure they knew who to go to?
The crowd roar is at 0:07-0:08 seconds of the video. They are at the table asking for an inquiry at 1:04.
Jordan is the superior gymnast of the 3 girls in question. That's a fact. It's also a fact that Jordan's routine was scored correctly the first time. Her Gogean leap was under-rotated and was correctly not credited. That leap hadn't been credited in any of her other routines. They had inquired her difficulty value in those routines too, and this is the only one accepted. Her petition shouldn't have been approved at all and she should never have been put in this position. It's also a fact that Ana Barbosu had a cleaner routine on that day than Jordan. Jordan flubbed two of three landings pretty noticeably and under-rotated that leap, and her wolf turn. Even though the quality of Jordan's gymnastics is better, Ana's routine was cleaner. *_It's also a fact that Sabrina Voinea was actually the one robbed because the judges took a deduction for something that they mistakenly thought happened, that did not actually happen. if we really want to correct judging errors, it shouldn't just be Jordan's._*
Everything you write is true. If Chiles did the same routine she did in the team final, she would be the winner of the bronze medal.
@Dan-lu4rw I have been watching gymnastics since the 90s. This is the first time that I can remember that a gymnast got an OOB penalty when she had perfect sight of the corner. Why would a judge assume she stepped out when she saw where the boundary was ? OOB is usual given when a gymnast loses balance out of a tumbling pass. Also, Voineas routine was almost the same in the EF as it was in team final. Yet, the judges did not award her 6.0 as they did in the team competition. That would have gotten her the bronze as well. In any case, Sabrina is the winner on merit because sports is about fair judging. Otherwise, coaches are expected to be judges as well, and figure out the fine details of why their athlete was scored lower.
Seems like a lot of fuse over what is basically a 3rd place medal.
If you’re unfairly stripped of something you worked for you’d protest also
Plus a 3rd place medal is at least $15,000 in the athlete's pocket (yes, the athletes get paid if they earn a medal) ... and any number of additional endorsements and advertisement for being a Olympic medalist (non-team). If it was me and $15K is on the line, hecks yeah, I'm making a fuss! :)
@@Sirianot134But she wasn’t unfairly stripped, she actually was unfairly given that medal
@@leykimayri How? They did not give her credit for a skill in the routine. The adjusted score was the correct score. No one is arguing about that. The only reason they took the medal back is because they claim she inquired too late. If the inquiry was within the time limit, then YES, she was unfairly stripped of her medal.
@@JLDReactions No, the adjusted score was NOT the correct one because Jordan CANNOT perform that skill. She has NEVER been credited the skill internationally because she CANT perform it. It was the superior jury who decided to give her the extra +0.1 point WITHOUT checking out the footage of her performance
I have problems understanding what they say in French. I hear a 59, I hear a zero, I hear vous ne m’avez pas donné I don’t think that is the person she was supposed to inquire to, and she’s asking where to send an inquiry for Jordan I think. Someone native in French maybe understands better what they discuss about
Ok I got a bit better, she says something you gave me “…not complete” and then Cecile says 59!in French which I assume is the supposedly 5.9 D-score that Jordan has so it looks late if the verbal inquiry needs to be COMPLETE because she only mentions the D-score but not the element for which she sends the inquiry.
I got another part “il faut nous donner la note de depart en fait” and Cecile answers 59. In French that probably means you have to give us the score for which you’re inquiring (free translation), hasn’t she ever sent an inquiry internationally in her career to know that people aren’t familiar with the names of American gymnasts outside the US and she needs to give the score for which she’s inquiring? She really fucked Jordan,!no wonder why Jordan got her own lawyers distancing herself from USAG….
The rulebook states that you are not required to submit your intended D-score during the verbal inquiry. You submit the D-score during the written inquiry.
@@brittanydavis2730 However you say for which element you ask the inquiry, don’t you?
@leykimayri I thought before you compete, the judges have to know your D score, or that only works for vault?? because if they already know the D score she intended to compete they just have to rewatch the performance to see what they failed to credit
If the "inquiry for Jordan" we hear is the appeal that has to be submitted within one minute of the score being posted, then the appeal was submitted in time.
The person says that she needed to have the score for which she’s inquiring, and Cecile answers 59, if that is true Cecile was indeed late. The French person working there doesn’t know who Jordan or Sara or Maria or Ana or Simone is
@@leykimayriliterally the judge should know the score and who is inquiring as each gymnast has a certain amount of time to do so, obviously another fail on the judge!
@@OoOMonkeyCoFreakOoO Literally the judge is NOT obliged to know the first names of the gymnasts, not even their last names by heart. Especially when it’s in a FOREIGN language and they may have problems memorising names they aren’t familiar with. Tell me you don’t have any difficulty memorising French names? Greek names? Chinese names? Hence why you ask for THE SCORE and the ELEMENT for which you think your gymnast was underscored, you don’t yell name in the open. In addition that person was NOT a FIG Brevet judge, it was a person working there in the technical committee native FRENCH receiving the inquiries. Again the technical FIC regulation is clear about it, verbal inquiries are accepted but you MUST DECLARE THE REASON for the inquiry. A random first name is NOT a reason. Same thing happened with Simone, they tried to send an inquiry and it wasn’t sent because they didn’t declare the score. If you hear the conversation in French this is what they say, and Cecile says fifty nine indicating the 5.9 D-score for Jordan that she supposedly should have had, and the 7.0 D-score for Simone that she also supposedly should have had. Both inquiries were LATE, when Cecile mentioned THE REASON for the inquiry it was WAY BEYOND the 1 minute time she had available by THE RULES.
The video isn't clear when the exact second the score was posted. If it posted technically second before on the board, you had the crowd before Jordan's reaction and reading comprehension time. Yes, they are saying inquiry for Jordan several times but the first time it seems she might not be in hearing range, the second time she most likely is and that is when someone asked what she was saying and repeats a 3rd time which is appears close enough now but at that time may have been out of time (but again the clock count down isn't clear in the video - or probably anywhere based on how this was ran). In the all around Jordan is best, then Ana B, but Sabrina is better on floor . And if any the bronze medalist is Vionea. But all three should get the bronze medal. The gymnasts were the best🎉
