Pleae you said part of the general pool which is 5,000(invested amount) out of 10,000 was invested to arrive at the investment income. i was expecting the 10,000 to reduce to 5,000 before calculating the weighted average cost of capital but you still maintained the 10,000

The science oriented people who have now come into accounting profession have really complicated accounting treatments these days. I studied accounting right from secondary school into my university educatiòñ. And l got chartered in year 2005. But these day, i find it difficult to understand too much jargòns in the notes to financial statements of any annual reports these days.
