I’ve just got mine and the fuel dial is at just under half but when I tried to refuel it at the petrol station the pump kept clicking off like when the tank is full. I don’t know if I am doing something wrong? I’ve never had a PHEV before.

Great car . But after a software update I’ve lost 20% off my range.

I have had one of these as a loan car for the last few days, well the 225e se spec 1.5 plug in hybrid and i am actually stunned how bad it is and thats before you get to the price of the thing! The drive train between its 1.5 litre engine trying to blend in the hybrid systems has all the finesse of an epileptic seizure as the gearbox is totally out its depth and any slight letting off the accelerator on overrun is met with whiplash from the KERs system. There is plenty room inside but the infotainment is a touchscreen crypton factor that needs KGB training to get anything beyond temp, which means nothing can be done on the fly like idrive and you have to stop for the risk of an accident to do anything. There are some nice touch materials inside but you can see where the moneys been saved but at this price point its not even on the same planet as its rivals. The one series is a better car and almost the same size or for a galactic step up in materials and engineering push to a 3 series...its the best selling BMW for a reason but if you need a small mpv look to other manufacturers because the badge simply shouldn't be on a "van" with the lack of experience in this sector clear to see and feel.

These things have been appearing online from as little as £23999, six thousand ish miles with 46 months warranty in Glasgow, seems like a no brainer with our new LEZ. Also, this van is no lash-up from the big platform sharers to lower their overall carbon profile. It’s been designed to be electric from concept. Thanks for your real-world impressions. Too be fair both ioniq 5 and ev 6 are much bigger cars are much bigger more akin to an SUV. A more fair comparison would be a an original Hyundai ioniq, Renault Megan , MG 4 or Nissan leaf which are all small family hatchbacks

Battery life channel has had an id3 for 2 years. He says that the battery degradation and therefore range after 2 years is 10%. A Cupra born is just an id3 from Seat. Battery capacity, like sand in an hour glass.

Forget about the damn multi charger! No one will ever use it. Why not a converter to use the Tesla chargers when you need the juice. Typical price is only $150 bucks. Why dont they replace it with that. A hell of a lot more useful.
