I had the opportunity and privilege to talk to Debby Boone after a concert and I asked her about the famous black dress that her mother-in-law wore in white Christmas during the number he didn’t do right by me. She told me that there was another daughter-in-law that had the dress. This daughter-in-law is no longer part of the family so nobody knows where the dress is currently.
I went to see Rosemary Clooney in the Rainbow Room in the late 90s in Manhattan. Wow, what a treat. I got a great table because I was an event planner there. She was amazing.
I’ve watched White Christmas more times than Holiday Inn. But I can’t choose between them as individual movies! They are both equally wonderful classics.
Im a big fan and admirer of Vera Allen she was outstanding with Donald O Conner but yes this film all players wete great a timeless film which continues to spread happyness to anyone who watches it
This has been my favorite Christmas movie for over 55 years or so. This year I introduced it to my Army son-in-love! He, and our daughter (who had a traumatic brain injury) watched it in total attention!! No phones just family, it was lovely. Even though our daughter saw this movie almost every year in our home growing up, she didn’t remember the movie so it was new to her once again❤️ One thing I had forgotten was the way the combat seen went.. As the movie opened with that. I had concerns as our s-I-love was on the last plane out of Afghanistan and he is a medic. (Lots of PTSD with him now sadly) . I really think the movie connected well with him and the joy of being home for Christmas ❤️
Ms Clooney 's comments at 11:15 about Ms Head placing that brooch on the backside of her black dress were hilarious . I have to view that scene again because I hadn't noticed that before ! Perhaps Ms Head was the unknwing inventor of the " tramp stamp " in 1954 .
White Christmas was an evergreen movie that was shown on NBC movies all during the 1960s like The Wizard Of Oz was shown . All during this time Crosby , Kaye and Clooney were active in show biz and were seen , but the fourth member Vera Ellen was not . I wondered who was Vera Ellen ? Later I found out . VE probably received tons of fan mail since the movie was shown every Christmas . but she did not make any appearances . Apon some research Vera Ellen was not the sole star of any musical not unlike Jane Powell singing musicals , or even Ann Miller dancing musicals when the movie musicals were phased out do they their movie careers . Even Esther Williams who was the leading lady in her swimming movies could survive being a staraight dramatic actress .

I first saw this movie when I was very young, and today at 70 years old I still watch it, this movie is like a real Christmas movie, that and Die Hard ( :
You can tell if you keep your eyes on Rosemary she doesnt do much physically but everyone brought their own A game
Danny Kay was a great match, just catch picture anyone playing the role
I like old stuff my mother was born in 1935 dave w
We had some really nice old movie house s in certain areas with an organ coming up they fixed them up but all the old stuff was removed d w.
rosemary was still beautiful even in her older years
I have watched White Christmas, Holiday Inn, and It's a Wonderful life since I was 10 years old. I am now 69.
I saw a regional production a few years ago. And unpopular opinion: I love the stage version more so than the movie!
One of the greatest movies ever made.
I grew up listening to White Christmas.
she was the only cast member alive in 2000's until 2002
This music is like gentle waves that glide through my soul, bringing peace and serenity. 🌊
Bing was my friend❤ He was a father figure to me after my dad had a heart attack.
Lots of hard work ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I would watch White Christmas every year also during the year if I was a little down. Made me laugh and forget what was troubling me, and I still do.

So special thankyou ❤️😊
A standard to watch every year.
The best Christmas movie ever is White Christmas! I watched with my Grandfather😢
Vera-Ellen was such a babe! And could hold her own with Danny Kaye!
How wonderful !!!!!
I love this film, especially the music, the choreography and the dancing! The story is a little bit naive, but who cares :-)

I never get tired of watching it.
So we never found out where Bing went when he decided not to pretend they were filming the ending again.
They don' t make movies like that anymore.
INCREDIBLE STORY. RC WAS A BOSS!
Too bad the dresses aren’t being protected. Loved Rosemary. ❤
