The Well Society's Member Education Course
We are rightfully proud that our club was the first fan-owned top-flight football club in the United Kingdom. The Well Society is now about to embark on its next pioneering initiative by launching Scottish football’s first ever education course on Supporter Ownership and Community Building.
A product of the work currently being undertaken by the Well Society membership workstream, the course will be led by David Stewart, a senior lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire. It will introduce members to the history and ideas behind supporter ownership as well as exploring the range of ways in which supporter owned clubs can promote community building. It will be a course made by the fans for the fans!
In order to move this project forward, the Society will be holding a workshop on Monday 13th January to consult the membership and recruit interested attendees to participate in the member education network which will work alongside David to co-create the course.
This is our club and our future. The member education course is the next step in building a sustainable and vibrant fan-ownership model to ensure that the Well Society is an informed, member-led force for good in the local community. Come along and help to lead the change!

Happy Merry Christmas
On top of his fantastic achievements with Motherwell (and Dundee United where he led them to 3rd place and some tremendous cup runs), as a player he won the league with Kilmarnock at 17 years of age, the only time they were champions, sixty years ago this season. Incredible achievements throughout his glorious career.
There is 1 candidate who i would vote for on here Some of this was cringeworthy................ look how great i am in my own words with no actual evidence Here is some sound bites with some words such as strategy, strategic, focus, collective, values, involvement, vision, delivery, global, drive...........bla bla bla What we actually need to see is hard figures, where you actually see it going and how it will grow with some evidence, just because you're a fan doesn't make you a good fit Almost everything on here should be taken with a pinch of salt.
I enjoyed watching Tommy McLean from the centenary stand at Ibrox Park in the 1970's when i was a wee boy with my Da and remember the Rangers fans called him Calimero after the cartoon that was on TV at the time.

Not a Motherwell fan. But Tommy McLean is the best Kilmarnock FC player I have ever seen . A great tribute to him from Motherwell FC and well deserved.
