Got my Kavan Swift and maidened it a few days ago. All went well, 5 mins in and on 4th attempt at a good landing, the plane tumbled to the ground landing on its back snapping the rudder clean off. The aileron clevis had pulled out which tumbled the plane. Not enough glue and the foam it was stuck to was slick. The glue they use is more a white silcone sealant. The clevis should really be glued and screwed into the ailerons and elevator. Esp for such large control surfaces and a fast paced plane. Told the hobby shop and they've sent photos of the plane. Kavan got back and said I should've checked the control horns prior to flight and picked up on their QC issue. They also blame a tip stall for the crash and the Aileron control horn came out as a reault..funny how it landed on it back qnd has zero damage on the wings. Btw the rudder control horn pulled out too as the rudder snapped completely off due to it landing on its back. So either way its my fault. Easy to get out of it if ur prepared to never accept theres an issue with the product.

Hello Weymuller Team. Blue or yellow, this plane is a very, very nice semi-scale model. What about the gear front servo? Metal or plastic one.? Because, on a tricycle gear system front wheel is often strongly exposed to damages during landing phase. Is this servo can be also changed easily and enough accessible ? Like rudder/gear servos embedded on E-flite Cirrus ? To read you.

Merci au Team Weymuller pour la publication de ce premier teaser... Vol d'essai réalisé a priori en full moteur. Il faudra attendre les rapports de test et d'évaluation pour se faire une idée sur les qualités de voilier de ce nouveau SWIFT Kavan. En espérant toutefois que l'électronique embarquée et le soin apporté à l'intégration des servos et connecteurs sont au niveau du prix élevé (450€) de ce modèle, proche du MPX FunRay dans cette gamme. En tout cas, le design de leur machine est superbe et dans la lignée de celle du Twin Shark et de l'avion de tourisme B23 récemment ajouté au catalogue de la marque. De belles vidéos à venir d'ici au Printemps avec le retour de meilleures conditions météo pour sortir les modèles

Un planeur de vitesse avec un bon pouvoir "stabilité " en basse vitesse ,cela me convient.

Je vole sur ce Ranger 1200 depuis plus d'un an . Idéal pour débuter. Gyro sécurisant. Modèle au gabarit contenu parfaitement équilibré.

bonjour à tous. Superbe semi-maquette !. Le tarif est un peu élevé au regard d'un E-Flite Cirrus par exemple. Est-ce que Kavan s'est bien efforcé cette fois d'équiper en électronique/servos ce modèle pour se hisser à la hauteur de ses ambitions ? (contrairement à ses modèles autoplaneurs Pulse et Alpha pour lesquels des témoignages négatifs remontent des cas de crashs dès les premiers vols à cause de servos défectueux 😞

How can it be calibrated? my charger shows 3.6v on the display, but when I measure with a calibrated Fluke multimeter, the meter shows 3.3v. That's a big difference. Please write how it can be calibrated.

Im building mine, did you add right and downthrust on the engine? Also how much nose weight did you use? Thanks love your flying.
