    hey mate. how do you think about the sizing? I'm wearing 36 for all 5.11 taclite pro pants. Recently I bought Stryke, I feel like 34 is better fit for me. for some reason I would like to try 36, so I returned the pants and take 36, but now I feel like 36 is too big. So I'm thinking of return this again and get the 34 back.

      I clean it when I get home from a hike, not while I'm out. So after I clean the filter I wash the pads, that way I store clean things together. If you cleaned while you were out camping then yes store them separately.

    I got one of these from my dad. He didn't clean it all that well and didn't really take care of it. He tried it, then packed it back up and stuffed it into his rucksack where it sat. The O rings have been lubricated and are still slimy with it. However, when I pump, the pump won't prime. It blows out and sucks back in. It's as if it has a bad valve. I didn't think it had a valve of that kind. Any ideas why it might do that?

    • @gcanaday1
      @gcanaday1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I figured it out. It's a ball valve, and it's full of deposits. A bit of CLR should take care of it.

    I'm a bigger person (54in waist) and love this bag. The synthetic is actually on the back/bottom of the bag with Down on top and sides. The idea was to save cost and provide better insulation when compressed (as you lay on it). Down when compressed offers no insulation at all. Awesome bag.

  • @tylerboyd4459
    @tylerboyd4459 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    These groove belts not good for carrying, supporting or drawing my G19. How come you are not wearing it with your setup? I found it very are hard to adjust, you have to take it off and the straps are hard to pull. It has zippo support for my G19 rig + xtra mag + Tier1 holster. Side note; buckle unlocks and separates when you bend over sometimes. It did on me twice. I also dont like strong magnets near my junk. Sorry to sound so negative. It is in de facto a decent belt when you are not carrying.

  • @Bill-rs1zm
    @Bill-rs1zm 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just purchased the same belt a couple weeks ago so far I'm impressed very comfortable and especially like the fact that you can thread it through your belt loops unlike a lot of other belts. I carry inside the waistband most the time and seems to work well for me.

    • @readyreviewer3295
      @readyreviewer3295 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      it really comes down to your preference, I put both types in my pocket at the store and I didnt like the extra bulk (although it was not much more) that the one with the loop had. I have pants were I carry it in my front pocket and pants were it goes in my back pocket so I went with no loop because it was the best for both pockets. hope this helped

    This belt really is one of the best you can buy for everyday use. The creator of this channel is a coworker of mine and sold me on this belt within the first 5 minutes of discussing it. I can verify everything in the video is true as well as one other tidbit of useful information. One of the biggest selling points of the belt was being able to thread the belt through all the loops to remove it from your pants without having to unsinch the buckle. Other belts with a similar "magnet" or "seat-belt" style of buckle require you to unattach part of the buckle before being able to remove the belt entirely. This perk combined with all of the pros of the belt make is easy to recommend.
