1:22-1:56 King Fritz is probably my most hated character next to Zeke through this whole series. I have experienced incredible fiction for characters I’ve felt hatred towards, but nothing like King Fritz. I remember just shaking with held in anger, tears for the slave Ymir was to a cruel man she loved, and seeing all of the allegories of the issues we deal with in our world today and yesterday through this endless cycle of persecution and oppression. When Eren reminded Ymir she was not a slave, a god, just human I broke into a storm of tears.

Zeke: "Once Ymir begins to move, nothing in this world can stop her." Eren: "She can stop herself. She just needs to know that it's her choice."

We witnessed so many things in this anime, but when i see that face, first time in whole series, i said "fuck..." so deeply from my heart bro. Damn

Seeing Ymir’s face scared and crying in the manga is a panel that i’ll never forget. Much liken the show, it was always covered until now. I never felt so bad for a character who had to live what must’ve felt like an eternity feeling like they were forced to do other’s bidding

The only reason why Ymir obey the royal blood is not because they are royal blood, but because Ymir sees herself as a slave. That's why Eren could still convince her, because she's still a human.
