Simple, Easy, Automotive Paint Job!
This video is of a 2024 Ford Maverick being painted in Azure Grey Metallic (G4), with PPG's Envirobase. This short and simple video demonstrates the automotive paint process in a few short and simple steps while a vehicle is in the paint booth. Paint jobs this size are the most common repairs seen in an automotive production repair facility and by far my favorite. This specific truck received a new bumper cover and passenger fender while the door was painted only as a blend panel. I hope you enjoy.

We pulled one of these out of a ice pit in the jersey pine barrens. Some shoobies went off-roading and found out it ain’t good for mud

Can you still see the brake lights?
Yes! I mask off the reverse lights to ensure they stay transparent, and the brake lights illuminate well enough once the brake is engaged. Warning though, laws differ state to state.

Hey do you up the air pressure on clear coat much more than when you are applying base?
Great question @brandoncarlson4496 me personally, yes. Every paint manufacture and spray gun manufacturer recommends a certain psi for each material and with each spray gun manufacture. It’s important you check their PDS on that specific material. Product Data Sheet’s are a great friend. :)
