@@jamesadair1586 lol K-State had 3 of their best defensive players go down on one drive. 2 of them were injured so bad they didn’t even return to the game and the last one was cramping. I guess more teams should try having their best defensive players go down and stay out of the rest of the game also, seems to be a winning strategy if it is what you say it is. And then offense having your star QB get injured and have to go to the locker room during a drive, just brilliant gamesmanship from K-State.

@AyoSaba I am not a Colorado fan. I do not root for any particular team because in 4he end win or lose we all belong to Adonai Elohim Yeshua HaMessiah Tzva'ot. I have seen worse things than this done for teams or individuals to win. Which players were hurt so bed that they didn't return to the game? Because the three that I saw not including the quarterback returned to the game.

@@jamesadair1586 never claimed you were a Colorado fan. Both Parish and Sigle didn’t return to the game. Both are starters and important parts of the defensive backfield. Garber was cramping and did come back in though.

@AyoSaba Admidst all the allegations of teams doing this to win and it being key moments in the game is suspect. Those key moments being when Colorado got any momentum. Several years back in the Australian Open a young and talented tennis player was robbed of victory when her opponent who was not allowed to leave the court got an exemtion. When she returned to the court she went on To win the match. Cramping, nerves, and injuries are part of the game. Bogus injuries allows for teams to catch their breathe and stall the others teams momentum. I have not seen that many players go down I a game before. Colorado is a team of momentum once they get that going they can beat anyone. If they had a better O-line they would have been undefeated. That's my opinion and you are entitled to yours.

@ I get it, but when you have a player go down you tend to not do it with your best players and they come back the next play. Both didn’t happen with K-State as all 3 that went down on that drive are leaders on the defense.

@@AyoSaba Maybe maybe not. Fact remains, KU was a muffed punt from winning last year, and this year y'all needed to kick a 50 yarder to win the game. Should have been attempting a 60 yarder as AJ got away with an intentional grounding on that 3rd and 8. Point is, the talent gap is gone. Right now, the streak is on the minds of the KU players and they make dumb mistakes in this game that they don't make against anybody else. But with home field advantage, KU could very well win that game next year, and once they do win, and it's bound to happen in the next few years, they will get that monkey off their backs. With the monkey off their backs, the wins will come easier.

@ you have 30 Seniors on the 2 deep, and are losing huge cornerstones of your current program. At least K-State basketball has done better than “close” and have actually won a couple times the last couple years, yet you don’t hear K-State fans running around crowing about “the gap closing”. Fact is KU has lost 15 straight. Until they win a game all this talk amounts to just fantasy on your part.

@ There is no talent gap anymore in football. There is in basketball. But basketball is a different sport. You can’t just run over a team with inferior talent. Teams lose to lesser talent every day in basketball. It’s almost expected for a top 15 basketball team to lose to a marginal tourney team on the road. It the same in football. You can’t see the obvious talent gap between KU and KState basketball. But one team can go cold and you can’t still win. But you can’t tell me watching the last two KU/KState football games that there is a talent gap. Those were two evenly matched teams two years in a row. KU only lost because of dumb mistakes that they don’t make against anybody else. That’s the mental aspect of the streak coming to the surface. I used to see KState make similar silly mistakes against Nebraska in the 90s until they finally got that monkey off their backs. The same will happen soon in this series. You can’t keep relying on miffed punts or for KU to field kick at the one. Eventually, sometime in the next couple of years, those mistakes will stop and KU will pull off the win. And when they do, the monkey will be off their backs and they won’t shit themselves in the foot anymore when they play you guys.

You’ll see that on special teams plays. So the player wearing 24 shares a number with someone else on the kickoff team. Since you can’t have 2 of the same number on the field at the same time one has to switch. So they have a slip over jersey that can take off super quick with Velcro holding it in place on the field. The refs will also announce the number change before the play it happens in.
