I see your point, but as a guitarist, I prefer tabs that match the finger positions I see on the neck. The fret markers on the neck remain the same even when I add a capo. Anyway, thanks for the advice.

I guess you mean that arpeggio at 9:38 .It seems easy, but it's actually pretty tricky. First things first, you should know the rhythm by heart. Listen carefully to that part, preferably with headphones. After that, start practicing at half the tempo. Focus on learning the picking pattern: downpick the G string and up-pick the open B string.

don't worry. It's a weird beat / upbeat tempo. I suggest to learn the pattern of the right hand. 4 / 5 / 4 / 1 · 1 · 4 / 9 fast picking / 1 / 3 / 3 / 3 / 3 / 6 I know it sounds crazy but that's the only thing you could do. Listen the final part dozen of time and learn that pattern by heart.

It depends on what kind of amplifier / effects do you use. Anyway, their distortion is pretty flat, you could be fine with that tune: Gain at 30 or 40 %, high at 50%, low 10%. Opeth usually plays rhythm parts with the single coil pickup.
