VR boxing in a virtual Golden Gloves tourney
Giving the 10 fight career mode of Golden Gloves VR a spin. 10 consecutive fights. Almost made it to the end but the difficultly jerks up quite a bit at the end. A very solid workout as my arms were jello after this. Pretty impressive game, one of the better VR boxing games in many respects.

Mixed Reality Boxing - Thrill of the Fight (Outclassed) on Quest 3
มุมมอง 37021 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
VR boxing turns into MR boxing. Taking Thrill of the Fight for a spin in my room scale garage. Three decent rounds against one of the dudes on Outclassed.
Liteboxer VR - First time intro class
มุมมอง 1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
A little taste of the newest kid on the VR boxing block: Liteboxer VR. Trying the intro class with basic movements. Class is slow, but gives you an idea of the gameplay mechanics. Instructors are a nice touch, however the production values could be a lot better. Still on the fence about the gameplay as well. Full review coming soon!
VR Boxing Drills: Defending the Jab. Use VR to improve your real life boxing skills!
มุมมอง 6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
VR Boxing won't make you a better fighter all by itself. But if you do have some real world boxing experience, you can totally use VR as a tool to drill to your heart's content. In this video we talk about basic jab defense and the settings you can use in VR to drill certain movements and techniques. A great replacement for a human training partner 🙂. 2000 punches in 15 min! VR boxing burnout drills with Supernatural
มุมมอง 7612 ปีที่แล้ว
Ah burnouts, the tried and true way to end your boxing workout. Lately I’ve been using VR to supplement my real boxing training (I’m nothing great, mainly ammy boxing and MMA bouts). A little speed bag here, shadowboxing there, jump rope, time to finish strong. With no partners around and your arms feeling like noodles, it’s sometimes hard to get the motivation to crank through a couple of burn...
VR Boxing: blocking stances tested (Thrill of the Fight)
มุมมอง 4.7K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Anyone wonder what blocking stances are most effective in Thrill of the Fight? Let's see what the computer opponent can do if you block ... and nothing else. A fun, not very scientific test. Could be useful for folks that don't have the luxury of a ton of room in their VR space to circle, bob, weave, etc. This is for the Oculus / Meta Quest 2 version of the title. Thrill of the Fight VR Boxing - Normal vs Outclassed Difficulty
มุมมอง 120K3 ปีที่แล้ว
A little VR boxing on my Oculus Quest 2 in Thrill of the Fight from an out of shape amateur MMA fighter. Play space set up to mimic a full sized ring. No Rock'em Sock'em robots here. Using the game's default settings, quite the difference between normal and outclassed difficulty levels.
You have pretty good form! This is my first time on the channel so idk but do you box in real life? Or did you acquire this skill from just playing the game?
I did some amateur boxing/Muay Thai over a year ago, so I did have some skill way back in the day. However these days I'm pushing 40 and haven't touched a gym in ages. VR helps to keep my skills somewhat sharp though. Way more fun than shadow boxing!
Dang man you got some moves 😂🔥
When I'm in game I feel like the ultimate badass, but when watching the IRL video replay... ehh I got some stuff to work on 😅
Great vid! Liked and subscribed!!! Interesting info provided about the sensors on the Quest 2!
I love this game but sometimes I’ll be punching them constantly and then they hit me once and I drop
I like how you don't worry about accuracy and as long as you do a hard punch, a work out and moving what feels more natural than following the beat is more important than superficial points.
Instead of moving. Bob and weave
Bro I thought he said u was a REAL boxer tho ??!! I ain’t see you block one time 😭
Bro this was good vid. A little more experience and a little bit of a learning curve on video production and you would have a really good channel. Why did you stop?
Bruh you theres a thing called body shots right??
The headsets are bulky though any suggestions ? I have quest 2
train with a real life partner
Man you really layed it out so perfectly. Are you a trainer irl?
Great content
played this game 2 days in a row. I can say, now body is afraid of this game LOL. I paired it with my H10 HRM...
Mid level, literally has the weakest chin lol
Do help u build muscle
does your arms block punches too or is it just the gloves
I think just the gloves in my experience.
Thanks bro
How did you do to get the videos of you fighting your opponent?
How hard can u get on the dummy in vr
Curious do you still do vr training? I'm working on a program like this, something similar but more specialized.
how is it going
Got knock out on ugly Joe tonight in outclassed mode in 12th round. Threw over 1000 punches this game is serious cardio
I wish I had all that space to workout
You have no defence.
Good stuff...were you using a multiplier?
he used 2.4x on everything
Guys go to settings and max up damage multiplayer so you can fight like that on outclassed level. On normal settings (automatic adjustment) it’s really really hard
Can't figure out how to start. It say tap the "3" lines then it has a "/"+....what does that mean?
Hi I'm a indie game dev and I would like to know if you are still making videos? Would you be interested in checking my game out?
nice videos dude, these are good
My favorite thing to do against the Jab is fade into the pocket while coming in with an overhand hook.
Outclassed is almost impossible with 1x multipliers. You can throw slingshot haymakers with enough force to put a hole in a wall, and 95% of the time it won't do **** to your opponent, even when you connect squarely with their jaw or temple. Uppercuts are even worse.
Have you tried outclassed on the sparring guy
The problem your having is that your not throwing combos then getting away your throwing multiple combos then getting hurt and when you get hurt you are baking up and circling, this would be good but not by itself, you need to make sure he cant make a move so consistently throw left jabs while moving to put his guard up Im saying this as ive done outclassed on every character in the game and do mma irl so im definitely credible when saying so.
Shh
You have years of boxing experience and don’t instinctively guard your chin? Even with alternating strikes, both of your hands are down. Really not trying to talk smack, it’s just an observation.
Thanks
Awesome! I'm only 6 weeks along, and was worried if it was safe or not, so I've been taking it very easy! (This is my first pregnancy!)
Is it just me or are you wearing your dads shoes? They don't appear to fit, never the less you still have OK footwork xD
try some body schoot.
This is by far my favourite VR game. If you have the space to move around you can genuinely get a great workout and also really start to work on boxing fundemantels. It's a pretty good starting point for anybody whos interested in the sport and fitness in general
I feel like I get hit constantly even though I think I have a good guard. Maybe I'll give this a try and focus on just blocking.
Thought you should know i referenced this video in my most recent video, fully credited and a link in the description! Great stuff! th-cam.com/video/QdyvksLnyaA/w-d-xo.html
Is it worth buying an Oculus Quest 2 just to play Thrill of the Fhigt? I mean, is it a long-term game or in the short or medium term do you get bored of it?
Good video but why this dude is wearing shoes that are 3 size bigger than him??
This game whipped my ass lol. Highly recommend!
I can't wait for an online version of this LOL
Fighting real people virtually is going to be a C game changer but also ppl are very toxic so it’s going to end up creating a lot of sore toxic people
@@MS-kz1ov Boy, I'd whoop your ass.
Lo está matando lo está matando lo están matando
Have you tried to hold controllers upside down? There is a setting in the game that allows you to calibrate them that way. With inverted controllers you do not have to keep them so far from the headset and there are fewer problems with tracking them. It should help with parrying.
Great video! Love it!
Glad I’m not the only one who does the pose during weigh in 😂
Ye gotta do the pose!!!!
game defo worth the 10 dollars, got it for 9 cents though
is it possible to make angles ,duck ,shift ,hooks, upercuts or the posibility you have is only straight punches ?
Very good video, my favorite defense for the jab is a right uppercut to the chin or to the body after slipping out .
