Meh v8's are over rated. I have the right to say so. Up till a few months ago I had a 5.0 Mustang and traded it in for a eco boost one. Little less pull when you step on it, but who cares, why do you need to go faster than the speed limit anyways, and the sound? Sure its nice, sometimes, but its mostly for show "Hey look at me" no thanks.

I own a 2008 GT500. Nothing like it.

I love the interior and tech of the c8 but i love the looks of the c7 more

Retro throwback cars are the best. thunderbird, mini, the bronco, challengers, camaros... love the oldschool look but better engineered! great era of cars fo sho

You would need another intake manifold if you want to put that engine in the car like the corvette has.

LS refers to the ALUMINUM block sports car engines. The 5.7 ls1 c5 or trans am or the 6.2 LS3 ect. The 4.3 v6 or 4.8 5.3 6.0 v8 are not LS engines rather code for a non e85 iron block 5.3 is LM7 I had a 5.3 with flex fuel that was the L59 and the LQ9. People just call them LS because that sounds cooler than LM7 or something.

Lq9 is not an Ls it’s an Lq9. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I have a C6 Z06 and a C7 ZR1. The two best cars I have ever owned and will keep forever.

Tried to get 2 C7's LT2, Nov to Dec 2023, payments were way too high, right around 720.00 (for a 6 or 7 yr old car!?!) Jan 2024 ended up getting a Challenger SRT392 and quite happy with it.

I wanted a c7 grand sport for so long but ended up getting a 2011 c6 grand sport coupe M6 due to the c7 having active fuel management. I work at a GM store and we are constantly replacing LT1/LT4 motors due to engine failure caused by AFM. I couldn’t be happier with my C6 M6 GS

Also basically bullet proof, I love my LS3 ❤and can build the crap out of them

Was thinking about selling my c7 z07 m7 recently. I couldn’t go through with it.

You forgot to mention the real origins are the small block chevy from the 50s.

the 5.0 in the modern area is way easier to stack on. no mods you can push on it a tube 840 horsepower. the engine isn’t gonna handle it for long but that’s the power of the era we are in, chevy is out of the game especially with the transmission problems they’ve been having

I spent several years looking at C6 Grand Sports. I was waiting for the right car with the right options in the right color at the right price, so I was taking my time. I had one picked out and was about to buy it. In the week before I pulled the trigger, I decided to get a C7 Stingray instead. I got it with Z51, and dual-mode exhaust. No regrets. I love this car!

I have a 2019 ZO6, M7, and a C8 ERay. Will Never Sell the C7. It’s a beast, and connected.

Forgot to mention, what I feel like is the sweet spot model- Grand Sport in 2017 through 2019!

the6.0litre ls in my 2000 gmc sierra 2500 hd Z71 had 435,000kms on it and still runs perfect ,has had the oil changed at 3500 kms since new! keep your oil changed people!

I really like the C7, but at 6'6'' my knees are against the dashboard. The C5 is the best fit for me & the C8 isn't bad.

WAs happy to fetch one 2012 Charger Superbee last year with 60k miles on it in EU. Think its a keeper. I am happily waving to EV folks.

425 was probably closer to 550-600. Everything was under rated then.
