    I use magnum 8 religiously.(Mydentity certified stylist)I find you only get the maximum lift with 1:1 ratio. Using 20 vol mixed 1:2 on a test strand with no body heat will only really get you 3-4 levels max. 30 vol 1:1 is generally where you would get that 8 level lift. (What I use on Hispanic clients that have dark course hair) The developer is lavender scented.

    Thanks for doing this one. The pink developer definitely caught my eye. All of their old stuff was silver and grey lol I'm starting to feel like the 9 level lift claim is for fine textured hair or roots/new growth only. Most of these bleaches can barely reach a solid 8 even with foil incubation. You're really exposing these companies exaggerated claims.

    I left it on for 6 hours and my hair didn't fall out.Went low 10 volume and then uped it up to 20 volume in foil and it got to a level 10 nice.

    Can you do an assessment of the Australian lightener Cureplex, I use that. It has a rebonding agent in it. I think it's better than the brands you've shown but would be interested to see how it stacks up. It lifts up to 9 levels.
