Copper Harbor's SECRET BEST Trail!
Finally, after 2 years, we got back to Copper Harbor, MI! This will be the first video of multiple of our time up in Copper Harbor.
In this footage, we rode a somewhat infamous trail called Red Trail. We were riding the shuttle provided by Keweenaw Adventure Company, and it was roughly a 500ft descent. Absolutely incredible!
I rode my 2021 Scott Ransom.
Thanks for checking it out, I hope it was enjoyable!

INTENSE Snowmobiling in NEAR WHITEOUT Conditions! | Houghton, MI | POWDERY Trails! |
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
This was our final trip of the season in the 2022-2023 winter. We started in Toivola, MI, just south of Houghton, and rode south towards Lake Gogebic. The video ends off just before we arrived at our destination, unfortunately the gopro battery died. In the video, I am riding my 2005 Ski-Doo GSX 600SDI, which I have since sold. The sled was incredible for me! This was an incredible ride, and fo...
ENTIRE BIKE PARK TO OURSELVES! | Giants Ridge, MN
มุมมอง 929ปีที่แล้ว
In today's ride, we somehow had the entire bike park basically to ourselves. You'll see in the video that there is basically NO ONE else on the trail, which made for an awesome day of riding! Giants Ridge is seriously worth the drive, especially if you are spending a few days in Duluth, like we were. We went from not being very good at riding berms, to feeling like all out pros by the end of th...
My FIRST ENDURO RACE!!! | Marquette Trails Fest | (Marquette, MI)
มุมมอง 447ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I participated in my first Enduro Race! It was the Marquette Trails Fest Race, a segment of the Lake Superior Gravity Series. I rode it entirely blind, aside from my memory from riding the trails last year. I had an awesome time, and look forward to my next race! In this video, I am riding a 2021 Scott Ransom 930 Enduro Bike and it was awesome. Aside from being dang near complete...
CRAZY ROCK SLABS AND WOOD FEATURES!! (Copper Harbor, MI) (Ransom 930)
มุมมอง 5502 ปีที่แล้ว
This was the first day of our final mountain biking trip of the year. We hit marquette trails trails the next day, and I should have that video up in the next week or so. Copper Harbor is unbelievable this time of year, as you can see in the video. We could not have asked for better conditions, and we had the times of our lives up there. This was our first time riding rock slabs as well, man th...
First REAL Double Black Diamond Trail! (Marquette Mountain, MI) (Ransom 930)
มุมมอง 2.6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Today we had the privilege of riding Marquette Mountain, in Marquette Michigan. This was also our first time riding at a location that had chairlift access, and boy am I hooked. I never want to climb again! We absolutely loved riding here, and hope to get back as soon as possible. The technical trails were incredible, unlike anything we have ever ridden before, and the jump/flow trails were equ...
FIRST TIME ON DOWNHILL TRAILS! (Upper Hixon Forest, Lacrosse, WI) (Scott Ransom 930)
มุมมอง 1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Today, I was able to ride the Upper Hixon trails in Lacrosse, WI. These are the first actual downhill rated trails I have had the pleasure of riding, and man was it a blast. War Eagle became my favorite trail of all time to this point, and you will get to see it in this video. These trials are unfortunately no lift accessed, so if you ride here be sure to bring your climbing legs. Today, I am r...
NEW BIKE DAY (Ringle Trails, WI) (Specialized Status 140)
มุมมอง 3.6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Today, I am riding my local trails here in central wisconsin. The Ringle Trails are incredibly well built trails with lots of cool features littered throughout, there is something for anyone. If you are ever in the wausau area, definitely try to get out here sometime. Today is also my first recorded ride on my new bike, and second overall. It is my first Full Suspension bike, and boy is it swee...
The BEST Tech Trails I've Ever Ridden??? (Levis Mound, WI)
มุมมอง 4212 ปีที่แล้ว
Today I rode levis mound near Neillsville, WI for the first time. We didn't even get to ride half of the trails and it may be my favorite trail system yet. Not only is it extremely technical (rocky, rooty, stuff like that), which I love, but the sights are just beautiful. These trails led to sights i didn't know existed in wisconsin, and I absolutely loved them. For this video, I was riding my ...
INSANE Snowmobile Trip in a BLIZZARD (Munising, MI) (PERFECT TRAILS)
มุมมอง 59K2 ปีที่แล้ว
We took a trip up to Munising, MI in early February and got caught in an awesome blizzard. This was the best snowmobile trip I've been on since getting into the sport, and I am glad I was able to capture some of it. We ended up with 170 miles this day, and right around 300 including the first night (about a day and a half of riding). Unfortunately I didn't get a ton of great riding footage, but...
Ski-Doo Rev 600SDI Walkaround + EASY Snowmobile Cleaning Tips
มุมมอง 4713 ปีที่แล้ว
Today, we go and pick up my new to me sled from the dealer after it had some preseason maintenance done. We also finally got our first snow, so there is a small clip of that in here as well. Don't worry, the gopro footage will be much better come the actual season. We give a walkaround of the snowmobile and a little backstory on it, and then give some super quick and easy detailing tips. DETAIL...
THIS Is Why You Should Buy a Coleman Minibike
มุมมอง 1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Zak and I ride his minibike on some gravel roads and get a top speed out of it, which was roughly 35mph, as seen in the video. He doesn't have the governor completely removed, but tuned so it won't cause damage. We had a ton of fun, and could totally enjoy one of these on longer rides. In this video, we rode about 6ish miles. If you are considering one of these, they definitely are fun. Hitting...
Hoping to race this year 💪
Sitting in my chair and I caught myself leaning on the curves!! Gotta luv da UP!!!!Pray for snow!!!!!!
Already have been man… got a new sled before last season and only got to ride it 200 miles last winter… this one will be better!!
White out conditions?
I peed off that bridge you went across. It was so cold it turned into snow on the way down...good memories.
If you think that's a whiteout, your nuts
banger video, those trails actually looked sick. Some rough ass terrain too
The trail you took at 9:00 should be closed because of the wet conditions.
Trails don’t close for rain in copper harbor.
The way you breath with your voice is wiiiiiild
F**k those snowmobiles !
I remember snow, looked like a great day. I agree the old SDI was an amazing motor, my wife’s had almost 10k when we sold it back in 2015.
This had to be last year or longer
Last march!
I went out in the blizzard last night it sucked cause I couldn’t see good
Nice video 👍 love your camera angle I watch a lot of snowmobiling videos you and shagboys have the best camera positions
Thanks man! I did a lot of screwing around to get it right.
@@isaiahskutley it shows!! hope you get your 4 stroke 👍
I am guessing this was last season? 2023
Yup! March 2023.
Love snowmobiling, pure panic,, i did NOT however see any near whiteout conditions.. :)
Great snow storm always like the trails in a storm like this - however it's not a Blizzard...
Nice gsx. 4 is the way to go for your next trail sled. Keep posting those vids
How is your gps or phone holder mounted?
I just have a motorcycle waterproof phone holder mounted to my handlebars. It works great!
Actually on that sled, i had to add in a cross bar between handlebars. Just google “motorcycle handlebar cross bar” and that is what I installed the phone holder to. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks
Look like fairly hi speed trail.
Frootley
Mid throttle usage to the max. I tend to avoid that from riding for 30 years. Always seemed to burn em down
Yeah definitely, haha. I was basically never wide open throttle in this footage, most right around mid throttle.
This is awesome, wish we had snow right now 🥶
sick ride dude!
Heck yeah it is!
@@rozu6193best snowmobile video I’ve seen all year!
gotta say i was confused seeing it say near whiteout conditions and houghton in the same title at this time, i thought this was from 23-24 season already! 🤣hopefully ill get a trip to gaylord if we actually get snow this season. love the video!
Haha, yeah no kidding. It’s coming soon!!
@@isaiahskutley as someone who is in the thumb… don’t know about that one 😭🤣
@@JuiceBoxMusica ah… gotcha. I used to live in southern wisconsin, i know how that is 😭
It should have been titled snow dust from other sleds neat Houghton.
@@rompinroger9614 i know 😭😭 exactly what i was thinking
Looks awesome just waiting for snow if we get any this year 2024
Me too man… in the meantime I am about to post another sweet ride from last season…
Today I learned Giants Ridge offers mountain biking during the summer. I used to go there in the winter in the early 00's for skiing.
Did you go to Thunder Bay ? To ride the Luge , 18 miles of one way trails , like a divided Highway ! Balls out ! Speed runs ! At the end , single trail leads to Munising , also at the end of the Luge , 9200 acre Pine Tree Plantation , don’t park next to a Pine Tree there ! You sink 10 feet when you go to start off again
That sounds awesome!!! Next time for sure.
Do you upload your videos from you phone? Or computer?
I do all of my editing and uploading on my computer.
Those phono connectors are a PITA. I started to make some magnetic nes but the connectors areVERY expensive.
Forgetting to start the camera before stage is such a classic move 😂. Done it more than once
Good to hear im not the only one!!
Get back to riding bro!
Working on it man! I have an unedited video from last fall in Marquette MI that id like to get out soon. Unfortunately cant ride yet this season due to injury. Hoping to get in some enduro races later on though!
Fantastic
So sick loving the videos keep it up! 🔥
Any issues with peddle strikes?
Sorry for the late reply… yes pedal strikes were common on this bike, but when descending it was no problem.
Sick!!!
I just bought this bike but the 2022 model
Still enjoying the bike? Kind of funny, I found your video because I searched for the status 140. But I actually live in Wausau! Lol
Hey Kyle! It actually ended up being a little big for me, so I ended up trading it for the Scott Ransom 930 you see me riding in my other videos. The bike was definitely a shredder, but the enduro bike suits Wausau better, in my opinion. However, I may have still had it if it was the correct size! The one I got was a size large, I fit best on a medium. Apologies for the somewhat late reply.
@@isaiahskutley hey no worries! Thanks for the reply. I picked up a status 160 and looking forward to riding this spring. Hopefully the trails thaw sooner rather than later!
Found the video for the same reason 😅 I'm in Green Bay but love the Ringle Trails. Any chance either of you hit Sylvan Hill with the Status?
I haven’t yet, Sylvan is still closed unfortunately. Looking forward to checking it out though!
@@abartels68 the status is AWESOME when pointed downhill. I dont own the status anymore for that reason unfortunately. Now i just have an Enduro bike and a new trail bike on order! Sylvan is a BLAST and an AWESOME place to learn new skills.
Those trail bridges always appear narrower at advanced speeds.
I love watching this video
Ah man what I would pay for weather like this now. This winter sucks.
same I live in Michigan near Cadillac and their ain't enough snow
@@theLyzhendricks I’m in mi too midland. But yea idk if I can keep putting money into this sport. It’s just not like it used to be.
@@kwadlife4106 well idk about all that I'm about to. Uy my first sled but I'm hoping for more snow
This winter (11 months ago). What about NOW 12/2023? 🤦♂️
@@glenerickson358 yea I didn’t get a new sled this year. I think I’m done. If I do go I’m just gonna rent a sled.
Love the video I just found your channel
We used to stay at the Holiday INN off 28, but they didn't have trails nearby when it was built. Got pulled over a few times trying to get to the trail. Happy Sledding!
thats a 170 miles of some good stuff/// great video thankyou
yes sir it was great! thanks!
nice bike how does it climb?
The status definitely was not a great climber. Definitely more of a downhill/enduro bike, you CAN climb with it but you will be dreading it... unless you are a strong climber.
We always covered our sleds at night.
not a bad idea! we didn't have an enclosed trailer at the time otherwise we would have put them in there.
700 triple let's go, LMAO I could outrun you on a 340 fan. Looks like a beautiful day for a ride tho.
Thanks for posting! Your enthusiasm reminds me of mine, the first dozen times riding here. The camera doesn't do Annie's drop justice
I love the part about you keeping up with the 850 and tuned sled. Lol
subscriBed.....great!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looks fantastic! What are you riding?
I was riding my 2021 Scott Ransom 930! Great bike and handled everything we rode very well.
