You can drive to the top, it's 5 to 10 min trek to reach the viewpoint from the parking. It's a rolling hills, you can walk on the edges of the hills.

Hi, yes it is real ☺️ we went on weekdays. Book in advance if you are going on weekends. There are 6 AC family cottages 1 Dormitory and 2 Non AC cottages. It is just 3.5 km from the main temple and just a half km from the beach.

It's 40km from Sakleshpur railway station. Trek length is 2km one way.

@AbhishekMogavira, you will get the KSRTC/private bus from Sakleshpur till a small town Hanbal. From there, have to depend on either auto/jeep or if you are going to stay in any homestay, they might arrange the same.

Timing: 1PM, 4PM, AND 7PM on all days

There is no forest check post. You can find forest personnel near Kigga temple. Ask the local guys nearby. They will charge a forest entry fee per person and for guide. Guide is a must to enter the forest. We got permission from one of the local friends. 5 am. is quite early, You will get the forest personnel after 6 am.
