    That road project is being constructed to counter Chinese built diseal SGR from Mombasa to Kenya, its meant to fight Chinese BRT initiatives, Kenya is being used by America in its geopolitics with China, that road should have been used to connect Nairobi to Ethiopia through a Moyale one stop border Post, that would make Mombasa port more competitive. The EAC community political federation championed by president Yoweri Museveni is now dead because Kenya is now an American puppet. Let's be honest, why can't they fund LAPSET project, why can't they extend the Nairobi Mombasa SGR to the border with Uganda. Nelson Asiimwe Uganda

      the red sea wars aren't ending anytime soon and scaring away potential customers, the west is already going through South Africa or using smaller transhipment ships sailing under different flags which is bad for business already your own economy is still too small and it sure as hell can't handle such kind of cargo volumes own it's own to beat mombasa, you also still have Lamu port to worry about on the transhipment and ethiopian markets

    the Mombasa port is the worst. We brought in a Toyota Hiace bus through here and by the time we cleared the vehicle ALL THE SEATS and DASHBOARD had been stolen. It took only 2 days
