Those aren't the actual boulders that the athletes will climb are they. That would be terrible if two weeks beforehand, the boulders they climb were in a video posted to youtube.

If a gym can't afford a route setting program, I kinda imagine they're less likely to be able to afford the big juicy volumes and holds used by the routes they wish to replicate on their Titan

Nice! So cool to hear from inspiring route setters! And this idea that gyms can get a Titan for everyone to play on is pretty fun. If enough gyms bite, will be interesting to see how often we see actual boulders being shared across centres on the Titans, where the work of one routesetter gets bought and enjoyed in many centres.

Standardizing the wall may be advantageous for setters and competitors, but could negatively impact the quality and innovative nature of both groups as they become masterful of a specific wall. I want to think E/P has, and hopefully will have, good intents by this work, but as they say, “follow the money”… 🤷🏼‍♂️

Lots of opportunity for replicated routes but hopefully this only pertains to specific competitions and doesn't replace the magic of local route setters in gyms

Hi, same excitement here in Indonesia. We all are looking forward to Olympic Paris 2024 as speed climbing will be a separate event from the combined event of lead climbing and bouldering. Indonesian athletes are quite strong at speed climbing discipline so we see an opportunity to grab Olympic medals there. I wish India all the best!
