What a beautiful relationship between these two! What a sad loss! I recently saw someone comment that his funeral became a concert and that the person found it distasteful. In retrospect, seeing that this is the synergy they had with each other and that music was their connection made the singing at his funeral the best outlet for grieving and for sending him away. I am sure he would've loved it and would've wanted his funeral that way. :(
