I think this is the best design for rural areas because it combines the use of low grade wood (sticks - plentiful around my land) and waste oil to produce hot water and dry heat.

Actually it is a 1949. 1950 had the fuel fill behind a door instead of the round chrome cap, and a boot opening operated with the key and not the lifting handle on the lid. My father had a 1848, our neighbour a 1950 when I was a kid.
