Go LITHIUM! Honeywell made (makes?) a great battery for the EFJ 51 and 5100 and I get 24+ hours vs. 10 with nimh.

Can you put up a video on how to program conventional frequencies into an APX ( 7000 6000 etc ) radio ? There’s only one video up on TH-cam right now and it isn’t really any good. I know it’s entirely different from Astro 25 CPS / Astro CPS / MTS CPS

I would suggest perusing through some of the popular sites such as eBay , Mercari, etc and see if that yields any results but if money is not an issue, you may be more successful if you visit an authorized Motorola dealer located in your area. The housing is the same as the regular one. Only the control top/knobs are different.

The radio must be in the appropriate frequency range. If the radio is in that frequency range, then yes.
Nice to meet you Can ordinary people use it? I have a purchase on the Motorola APX-6000 and... I am currently living in South Korea. I want to buy fluorescent light green, but the APX-6000 model is not an amateur wireless ham radio, right? It's a regular radio, right? Can it be used in Korea as well?

Coil cords suck. Was a deputy sheriff and used STX and XTS radios with the straight cord public safety mics. The volume switch, short antenna, and flat faced mics. Best ever.
Gotta get the shortie antennas.

This won’t work with xts3000 model 2?
I’m afraid not, xts 3000 radios do not offer dvrs or FPP. They must be tied in to a system to have TPT features

Doesn’t look like I have QCII as a menu option. Is it something i’m overlooking or a flash code option I don’t have
If it’s on conventional, is DVRS turned on? That’s how you get those tones. The lower TPT tone is the direct/talkaround, and the normal TPT is the repeater. I tested this on my XTS1500, XTS2500, and XTL5000.

Hello and thank you for the question, for the sake of personal privacy I’m afraid I cannot disclose such personal information on a public forum, however I will say that it is a very good truck given the fact it is a 2005, it has been on the road for 18 years, been used by a former first responder before my possession, and is an overall great truck when it comes to customization for a wide variety of occupations. It is and / or was my first pickup truck and is and/ or was a great introduction to the world of trucks. lol , baofengs just haven’t really been too reliable for me personally, I’ve had issues with them not lasting too long as I’d like or electronics stop working even in the most delicate hands, but they are decent for what they are. Happy holidays and have a happy thanksgiving 😁
Hey I enjoyed your tutorial but I noticed that during your tutorial you didn't actually show us how to turn on the encryption switch on the top of the Motorola radio. After following all the steps I was unable to do what you show off in this video to switch doesn't respond at all. Any help would be appreciated😊
Red is allowed in NJ?
Red / red and white to the front and sides. Red/ amber to the rear. THIS IS BY AUTHORIZED PERMIT ISSUED TO CURRENT FIRE/ EMS CHIEFS AND LIEUTENANTS BY PERMIT ONLY. all others may only use blue and white in addition to yellow.

Cigars are fantastic but didn’t the doctor prohibit smoking? Several individuals that I know were banned from any smoking after their strokes. I do hope you had those former employees prosecuted.
Yes he did, however I must admit to you that it is a cultural concept for me and I have immensely reduced my cigar tastings. My former employees have been charged and successfully prosecuted in the states of New Jersey and New York. I have been compensated for the lost items and will be making more videos in greater variety.

Great Video , Have some Walmarts gone to using these radios Wich use 900mhz instead of the Murs frequencies they have always used ?
Based on the geographical locations of the stores, recent criminal activities, or just enhanced security/ privacy, it’s very likely that they have moved to higher frequency ranges such as 900/800 MHz and frequency hoping radios. MURS and GMRS are NOT private in any way so it makes sense. Thank you to all my viewers for their comments and contributions to the video series. More coming soon!

No thanks I use cheap China no name brand Motorola ali express their go back to develop not bad audio is low when received but transmission of mic is hot working as well Motorola depo?

I updated my SRX 2200’s to FW 31 and the BN’s have the TPT checkbox now but the feature doesn’t work at all like how it shows in your video. We’re all using encryption as well so I don’t know what’s going on.. what specifically did you set in the CodePlug to have TPT work on P25 Conventional with encryption?
I would be so pissed! I hope those thief’s get locked up for a few years or more. 😠
