Truly a rajin cajun. I had the high honor working for him in Kentucky in the Governors race. Then again I met up with him in Atlanta in 2003 at an ATLA convention. And he spoke to a room for of lawyers with passion and zeal. Much respect for my old friend from the swamps.

Winning for a morally bankrupt victory is no victory at all. Clinton destroyed the premise of the Democratic Party: to represent the working class, the public sector, the vulnerable and the least amongst us. Workfare, the creation of the prison industrial complex, NAFTA, dismantling financial regulations and the repeal of Glass-Steagal, triangulation etc etc. It destroyed the lives of people the Democratic Party was meant to enhance. Clinton was a cynical, empty vessel who wanted to be president at all costs. It was all about him, a neoliberal trickledown shill. He ramped up Reaganomics and winner takes all. This is one of the commie architects ... that is why he is touched to the core when he's making this speech. To him, it was not just a presidential campaign but the start of the unravelling of America ( by putting a "crimson" president with a lot of baggage who could be blackmailed and bullied into doing their bidding ) to clear the way for the communist takeover that we are witnessing the advanced stages of right now. The chief strategic move Clinton made towards advancing communism is the deregulation of Wall Street.
