Flying saucer?
Lol I thought the same thing brother
Tell it like it is.
Huge crack = Small vase. Well done.
Very nice projects! Wanted to inquire if your gloves are padded? Looking for a good pair to offer padding in palm of hands. Thank you.
Yes, they are brother. Very comfortable
Yes, they are brother
No “rating” necessary, just WELL done!! Thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching brother

Thanks brother
I love it. the color is awsome
Thanks brother much appreciated
The music is jammin'
Beautiful piece of wood. Really beautiful.
Beautiful color. Do you know what kind of wood it is?
So sorry I have no clue
Hollowing out the inside of that vase was a huge job. Very well done.
That came out so beautiful. That's amazing. Great job as always brother in-law.
As always thanks you so much
Beautiful color - good work, too!
Thanks brother
Cool little project.
Thanks!
what did you put on it? what did you use to finish it?
Pure walnut oil
I love the little design and shape of it! And don't we all hate camera issues? Reminds me of the time I nudged my camera and set it to record in 720 instead of 1080. It looked terrible! Nice work as always!
Thanks much appreciated
My camera will do the same. Random camera issues for no reason. Good Bowl though, project looks good. Hopefully the camera issues work themselves out.
Roger, that brother
Beautiful piece of wood - enjoying binging (just popped up on my feed today) your channel - subbed, liked & all that jazz. Thank you.
Awesome, thank you!
Came out well - nick work!
Great wood, Sound must be off I just hear the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over!
My bad brother, trying to get away from the music and add more verbiage but it's hard to get used to I don't like the way I sound I hope I didn't bum you out my apologies
Came out great GRIZZ...
Thank you, little sister
Black locust has a great grain. When I was making firewood, I put some pieces aside for woodturning. These videos should speed up the start of woodturning.
Roger that brother, it's super nice wood
Very nice outcome. Looks great!
Thank you brother
...cool little vase with gorgeous grain!... I've shied away from walnut oil due to the long drying time although I really like the finish...how long do you find it takes to dry? Matt
I only let it set for about two hrs, and then I use the fine grit polishing compound.
@@GRIZZ357 ...thanks, Grizz...👍
UNCLE 😊! Good job 👏 I also like the music 🎶
Thanks! 😃 hope is well son.
The vase came out so pretty brother in-law. Great job
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice job Grizz, but what are you up to? Is nobody going to address the rubber hand?
That's what I thought, I figured I would have had a comment referencing the little hand but I guess not. Your the first brother and thanks for comments and for watching.
...love walnut...I remember my dad carving some incredible pieces from walnut when I was a kid...they're now dispersed to me and my siblings... This piece looks great!...well done...🍻 Matt
Roger, that brother thanks
Looks great!
Thanks brother
Walnut is such a good looking wood to work with. Good Looking Bowl.
Thanks brother
That came out so nice. How you can make something so awesome out of a piece of wood. Great job brother-in-law. Enjoy watching your work.
Thanks 👍
Thank you Gloria I love you
Looks great!!!!
Thanks!!
You lost me with the first note of music. No one I know pulls up a turning video to listen to tunes. The sounds of a running lathe, tools on the wood, and a good running commentary are the only audibles needed, IMHO.
Yeah I'm not much on talking I'm trying to get used to putting voice to the video over music my apologies brother
Black Locust
Roger that brother thanks
@GRIZZ357 an easy way to confirm is it will react under black light. You have the bark and endgrain, the bark is very unique and different from most other hardwoods, almost resembles more of a big conifer. Try the blacklight though, should be cool.
can you tell what the finish is and were to get it
Pure walnut oil, I bought it on Amazon brother
4 small spices box's what? I think you meant boxes.
Why is “box’s” in the title possessive?
Issue corrected, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Lids look good and the grain looks awesome. Good Project.
Thanks 👍
The grain is absolutely gorgeous. A beautiful piece of mystery wood made into a beautiful bowl.
Thank you very much!
awsome work brother
Roger that brother and thank you
Roger that brother, Thanks for taking the time to watch.
...very cool!...I'm sure your daughter will love 'em...haven't tried a box as I'm still fairly new at this, but I have it on the list... Your voice over is working just fine...keep makin' vids and I'll keep watchin'...👍 Matt
Outstanding work, my friend.
Thank you, brother. Appreciate you taking the time to watch. Hope all is well with you and the family.
The spice boxes came out so nice brother-in-law. They're really awesome.
Thank you, I'm glad you like them.
Nice but I wish you had narrated more. What size and type of wood? What tools you used? What finish did you use?
I'm still getting used to just talking. LOL, I use to add captions to the vids. But the vids started getting too long. So, as mentioned, I'm getting used to talking and not stuttering that crap sucks. I will diflntly take your advice and thank you for your support. I try and keep the videos to 4 minutes.
Nice
Great work beautiful wood, Locust?
Either that or hemlock, one of my subscribers had mentured. It looked a lot like hemlock.
That looks great. Would love to know what kind of wood that is
black hemlock
bro, that looks great
Gracias, hermano.
