I apologize, tell him I listen to too much radio driving, and then I play the youtube video. I see vocal artist Jocelyn Alice (for the first time)in a photo I presume is an album cover or recently licensed image and say outloud to myself, "Whoa...man! And talented!! Probably Swedish". My roommate says outloud to himself, "Maybe Icelandic." (Where the 'star' to 'citizen' ratio is already impossibly high, I think to myself) then the next day I find out: SHE'S HOMEGROWN!!! Great work, Jocelyn! Keep it going!! Typically Canadian: National talent has got to get global attention before fellow Canadians have any clue what cultural diamonds have been produced in their own home and native land!
