Welcome to Permaculture Pastures!
My husband is a hairstylist and salon owner. My background is in social work and I have a non profit for teen moms. We both grew up in the suburbs and had no experience farming. So how did we end up farming?
Well, farming is in our blood, but it is removed one or two generations. So far, we’ve learned everything we know from watching TH-cam videos, asking lots of questions, and a whole bunch of trial and error.
Our son is what gives us our drive. He struggles with severe sensitivity to toxins in his food and environment. This farm began as our journey to give him a better life and we’ve fallen in love with it! We hope you will too.

That is an awesome idea. I have a good 'game feeder' on our property that I cannot use now as we have fenced everything and are building up a heard of goats. I plan to use this idea and make a feeder for our baby goats. Thank you for the video. I hope your channel does well.

Ryan & Addison Smith Lol we only did 50 our first time and it took us ALL FREAKING DAY😕 we decided we would do more smaller batches periodically throughout the year- so we did 26 last month. And we ordered 20 freedom rangers (this will be our first time raising freedom rangers) that will be here first week in August. So did y’all move from the city to the country?
Smith Family Ranch we raise them to sell so we have to do bigger batches. Otherwise I think we would just do 50 and be done for the year. We were living on 3 acres and raised a couple hundred chickens, a steer, and several pigs. But our customers really want more grass fed beef so we needed more land. Plus we don’t want anymore debt. www.permaculturepastures.com
