As a UGA fan, I feel that Mark Richt earned some leeway here w/ this team. UK was talented but I didn't think they were better. I do think that Stafford as a freshman was no where as mature, and so the next two years showed that, but we definitely let this one get away from us.

A marrauding Kentucky Wildcat defense. Looked like they gave UNC nothing. Believe it or not, upper level end zone steats in that multi-purpose stadium were a great place to watch football. You could see the whole play develop.

My roommate came home with a 6 inch piece of the goal posts. One or more pipes got carried out of the stadium to an afterparty and cut up with acetylene torches into small pieces.

My dad took me to this game when i was 7, don't remember much but the crowd being insanely loud and the goal posts demolished. When couch went to the browns when i was 9 i became a browns fan. Little did i know that 12 years later I'd be living in Cleveland. Couch is still an idol here it's pretty cool.

As great as this win was, UK couldn’t beat a much lesser (much lesser) Tennessee later in the year. Happens all the time. Good Tennessee teams beat Uk when they should, and shitty Tennessee teams still manage to beat great Uk teams (just like 2021!)

Went to this game with my dad was a transfer to EKU. Anyway Kentucky blew Eastern out remember an Eastern fan an old man was arrested and ejected from the game too.

We couldn’t stop Couch. He got rid of the ball too quick and we were toast. Dubose’s game plan to open the game was ridiculous as well...

Man!!! That was the best Kentucky football team ever besides the 2018 team. Mark Stoops needs to utilize that same type of offense. They have the Type of players to, with Baeu Allen or Gatewood at QB. Build that good defense back up and they could maybe win the east 1 day.
