Dude watch 1:10 and 2:18 there in complete different spots at 1:10 that bank is in front of them. At 2:18 there a good ways past that white structure on the bank. It's def not a object that's a big fish for sure
This is def a fish guys if u can't tell and u think it's a stationary object ur a fool. The different patterns and they way it swims left or right for differs amounts of time. It's something big for sure
Upper St Mary's lake in Glacier National Park have same. College students capsized in a canoe. Became a recovery. Retired navy divers went down came back up and told Park Rangers that I'm not going back down there because there's fish bigger than me .
@@miniscool5613 why are you so intent on trying to make me incorrect. I’ve seen something just like this as I stood from the shore of a lake and it (the wake was EVEN BIGGER than the one in this video) was not a bouy!!
lol thats the biggest channel buoy i ever witnessed. you can hear then engine start so the boat could catch back up after they drifted back. It may look like its moving, but the bank tells the entire story, since it doesn't change . I remember 10 years ago sitting at a mouth of a creek while a guy pulls out of it into the river. the current was running about 6mph and so was his boat. this guy actually thought he was going up the river for a good 20 minutes. i can still see his confused look when he looked over and saw the creek he came out of 20 minutes prior . he gained about 100 yards in 20 minutes
Was above Mormon bridge one night camping on sandbar and something went up river causing enough wake to rock my 18ft. Ski boat ,whatever it was it was huge
WOW! Watching in August 2023. That's incredible, love how you guys weren't afraid to get close and keep up with it to show everyone exactly what you were seeing, Awesome footage guy's!
I'm on this river every day. Me and my children encountered a large reptile doing this with the head shape of a elephant or a mammoth? Yet it had a short alligator snout and teeth instead of a trunk. My kids screamed and cried when it blew Weird air out like Some sort of orca.
@@S.T.R.Y.K.E.R. I'm on the Missouri River on the border of Montana and North Dakota. No dolphins. Whatever it is. It can deal with the river freezing over 5 months out the year.
Huge Spoonbill. Most likely a barge had passed thru within a couple hours, stirring up plankton. Opening her mouth causes the bill point up at a slight angle causing the big wake. This was a huge fish!
The Ponca talk about a giant river monster that lived in the river, that's actually what brought me here I wanted to see if there was any footage or possible pictures of it
I saw something almost exactly like that on the Columbia River a few weeks ago. I thought maybe I was seeing things, then I saw two of them yesterday. I have not been able to catch it on video but these also included a white spray right above the fish and they were even faster. I'm guessing sturgeon but if anyone knows for sure I'd like to know.
You can drive through Parkville at English Landing Park right down to the Missouri River. About fifteen feet off the shore there was a distubance in the water just like this. When the river was higher the surface would be smooth then suddenly swirl into a whirlpool sucking water a couple of feet below the surface. Then the whirlpool would vanish for a few minutes. People would step off the park's walking trail to stare at the spot, but that murky ol' river would never give up its secret. It was spookier than the devil! Eventually, during a lower river stage, divers discovered a dump-truck that had been stolen decades before and run off into the river.
could be a gator gar, but they usually don't wake like that. could be a lake sturgeon, pallid and shovel would be too small for that kind of wake unless it's a record size. only problem with it being a buoy is those don't have fins, and for anyone saying the river is pushing them backwards giving the illusion, even when you can hear the boats wake it's still managing to keep up and pass them
I saw this clip too, watched over and over again, many years ago. That same feeling of disappointment and despair still prevails. Of not really knowing what magnificent, gigantic creature caused such wakes.
It's a buoy stuck underwater. The current of the river is giving an illusion that it's moving but it's actually stationary. When the guy pulls up to the "fish/creature" he cuts the motor and as the boat drifts back with the current it's giving an illusion of the submerged buoy swimming forward. It's not a fish/creature but a buoy stuck underneath water 😂
If it's a fish why aren't you snagging it with a hook?
that’s a dinosaur sightings
I've seen carp the size of an obese man leave a wake not even 10% the size of that wake. Whatever it is, is truly enormous. Maybe a Small Sub.

Throw a GoPro in on a line and you might see something.

well that would be a dolphin. but this isn’t a dolphin because it’s moving side to side, not up and down

My bet would be paddlefish. I don't think sturgeon get that big, at least not as big as paddle fish.
Where is river
that's a log
Submerged tree moving back and forth in the current.
Where was this at? I just saw the same thing yesterday around the Portland mo area
See on TH-cam: "Bull Sharks DOCUMENTED in Great Lakes?!"

Aww the magnificent and dreaded cottonwood monster.
I think it's a jug attached to a big ol paddle fish or blue cat
We have a similar video of something big of this nature on the Missouri, around the confluence of the Yellowstone

Spoonbill
Maybe ah eel?
That has to bea sturgeon
That is no fish that is that serpent dragon thing
It has to be a Sturgeon
