Never thought I'd see that view! Ocean Park to Beards hollow!
@dennishickey6945 Yep! you can get some pretty unique shots with a flying camera.
I bet that boat run better with 2 x 100hp outboards
It probably is using a raspberry pi to run the simulation and blink the lights.
Hi Darren, would you be interested in installing an autopilot on my boat? I saw your city of Lacey lanyard so just wondering.
Looks severely neglected, but it's a Honda!
How fast

Thanks
Thats my boat! We have been loving and using it hard for the past 4 years and has never let us down! Puget Marine is great! Sad to hear the Northwest line is gone😢
She pretty
When “big iron” was really big iron. Too bad they didn’t/couldn’t show the complete system - a lot of cabinets.
Those are some serious blinking lights!
0:57 It's a Cylon! 1:27
I toured the facility at NASA/GSFC where the 91 was installed when I was a kid, doing the career day shadowing thing. After high school I worked in that facility for several years, alas after the 91 was long gone. We did still have the very first Amdahl 470/V6, tho
"All I see is blond, brunette, redhead."
Fake light sequences. Especially the red error indicators. (I had a 46 year career programming and operating these wonderful machines)
That's is so cool and super quieter
run Amsoil 100:1 in a 2 stroke. no smoke or smell
That's impossibly cute 😍
the whole video is the dog barking at the fence.... youre welcome
It is mainly the dog on the other side barking.
Talks a lot and shows little.
Wtf does that mean?
What? The video is exactly what the title said it would be 😂
@@Tevon93 Exactly!
You're the neighbor everybody hates.
It's a dog on a fence. Dogs bark. Get a grip.
@@jasras5003 Not my dog. I've had two in a row now, they both learned real fast that I don't have time for a dog that barks. It's not hard or cruel, just everytime they get excited and bark, you say "NO!" and playtime is over. That's it. They figure it out real quick.
Would this require a new power head or just heads?
I worked on Model 91's at UCLA and Lockheed. I got about 5 minutes of training. The first Customer Engineers that maintained the 91 got a year of training. Fortunately, all of the problems were light bulb replacement and iron core memory failures.
Very cool!
How do you cope with a core memory failure?
@@marcwolf60 We had one extra memory cabinets. Pulled the faulty one replaced with the extra. Then we diagnosed and replaced whatever parts that were required in the removed cabinet. Then one day, we had two cabinets fail...
@@arrowrod : term I found amusing and used by an IBM CE was “slow bit” . Each ferrite donut represented a bit. The slow bit part was when the bit couldn’t reverse parity fast enough. As clock cycles (cpu speed) increased, slow bits became more of a problem.
Same here! I worked at UCLA as a computer operator c.1977 and then Lockheed Burbank not too long after. Ah, the good ol' days!
what it cost for conversion? how long did it take? looking to get a conversion done on my boat.
The whole project including engine probably cost around 50K.
Man that sounds nice
I like 2 strokes don’t discriminate
I have a 2003 searay do you know where he had the bracket made and installed?
Sadly there are no running IBM360's left on the planet.
Miss that place
Looks like a very expensive swap for loss of power. The maintenance will be better but man that’s a lot of work and cash.
Seems lazy with one person in the boat and no bagage….nok
Way to small for the price tag
Do you see any reason it wouldn't work with remote controls? I see in the manual it says tiller only. I was shocked to see a tiller on this big boat, but it does make me think the remote control version wouldn't work
I have out them on remote engines. No big deal.
It's so close I can't tell.
Very cool love the set up!
Thanks!
Very cool! Engine noise sounds good too. Kind of reminds me of a fighter jet heads up display l o l!!!
It does!
Hi mate I have a Amberjack 270 same year. The old mercruiser is starting to give me a lot of trouble. Who built the bracket? Would you have the plans available?
Did you ever get a response. I have a 2006 270 AJ as well and am interested in this. Could be a great alternative and cost savings in the long run. Its a great boat otherwise.
Hello what batteries u use for that suzuki? I have the same but when I start up also the bipper is ringing Like it doesnt have to much electricity to share
Is the car completely stock?
It has full exhaust, aftermarket headers race cats magna flow system cat back. Nismo intakes. NISMO S tune suspension. Factory brembos, Rays Nismo rims. Not sure of any engine tune it may have, I bought it used 6 years ago from a dealer so they didn't know shit.
i love it...😁😉
wow!!!!
Just ordered a new 250 Suzuki today....
Yeah def faster than my DE lol, sounds awesome dude.
Thanks, it makes all the right sounds. You either love it or hate it.
You will get a faster steering reaction if you trim your main motor out of the water. It is acting as a resistance force rudder.
It tracks straighter with it down.
Beautiful computer!
Gt roadster ?
Grand Touring
Gorgeous view, and great camera work. I only wish I could see the original (non youtube ) video.
Thanks! I can't wait to get home and get the file on my PC to see what it looks like on my LG OLED.
That thing rips!
wow~pro sharin- see u around- Darren-🎥
Always been interested in these. 2 question, how fast will it troll you? And how many gph is that kicker burning at say 5 or 6 mph? If it can go that fast....
9.9 high thrusts generally go 5 to 6 mph. Whether on a 16 footer or 26 not much speed difference. Wide open probably burn 1 gph. General rule is outboards burn 1gph/10hp at wide open.
@@darrenalkire5281 thank you
Hey man. It's been very long since our last interaction. Hope you are doing well. I still have the same laptop. And now few of my keys have stopped working. I did an nvidia graphics driver update once and all the keys started working fine but failed after a restart. Do you think it is a software issue or should I replace my keyboard?
I have no idea. See if a USB keyboard works correctly maybe?
