Miss Shemica thank you for your cornbread dressing recipe! While as an older Black woman…I have made many Thanksgiving dinner using my mother’s cornbread dressing for years…but I am going to try your exact recipe! You’ve added a couple things…that I don’t generally use….Cream of chicken…and buttermilk. Your entire finished Thanksgiving dinner meal looked so delicious! Compliments to you for your video. I really liked your nice speaking voice which is very pleasant …with clear instructions. It was also special…you adding cooking anecdotes you’ve had with your mother! And I noticed…your nicely painted fingernails …which for me is important for a cooking channel! I am looking forward to trying your entire Thanksgiving Dinner…just enough for two! I have subscribed…from here in California! I’m a fan already! Excellent video. Good job! The camera work was on point. I even loved your red mixing bowls. Glad I found your channel Miss Shemica!

I was just thinking about making some dressing this weekend and then this popped up on my feed! I'm going to try your recipe,always looking for variations and it looks good! I also cook by feel and my kids and grands have learned to do same. My daughter has my Mother's cookbook with her index cards,stationary paper,newspaper clippings of recipes that we reference for amounts but like you said,once you get the hang of it,you're able to eyeball it. This will work fine for a test run because I want to make a small pan. Thank you!

When my mixer starts spitting out the flour I find if I stop my mixer and lift the beater up, I can stir in the flour with my spatula to incorporated all the flour before resuming with the mixer. This stops the mixer from spitting out my dry ingredients.

Hi loved your pound cake but I don't use cake flour can I use APF instead and can you tell me what temp you put your oven on and how long you baked it and one more thing how do you make the crum stuff
You can use APF, I suggest sifting it first. I baked it at 325 degrees for 1 hour. The crumble is included in the first part video the recipe/ingredients.
