Ho scoperto da pochissimo il compositore Auber, e le sue opere che ho ascoltato sono tutte molto interessanti, ma questa è quella che mi è piaciuta di più! Auber è secondo me il Rossini francese ! 😊🎉😂

Ho scoperto da pochissimo Auber, e le sue opere mi sono piaciute tantissimo, per la coloratura intensa e vivace, la freschezza e la luminosità che emanano. Quest'opera andrebbe rappresentata più spesso, mentre invece si parla solo della Manon Lescaut di Puccini. 😢💯🌹🎼

Could you please give more information about the singers of the 2007 Benini's recording? I found on internet that in the year 2007 there's a recording with Benini but it is in French, not in Italian...

What’s the point of posting this? Gedda is in late career mode, a bad night. I have bad performance of Corelli, Pavarotti, Tebaldi, Milnes and many more and they will NEVER see the light of day. Nobody will ever hear them. It’s insulting to the legacy’s of these great artists. Gedda has just one bad performance, and you have to post it for likes. Pathetic.

I loved this piece. I want to hear more of his instrumental music.

Ich habe die Feen in meinen anderen Aufnahmen schon häufig gehört. Aber es fällt mir jetzt erst auf, das Arindals Lied vor Adas Statue bereits leichte Anklänge an Tannhäusers Bitte an Venus im Tannhäuser hat. Klingt zwar auch noch stark nach Weber oder Marschner, statt Wagner, aber an der Stelle zeichnet sich erstaunlicherweise bereits der Tannhäuser ab.

je me souviens très bien de cette production. A l'époque elle avait été diffusée à la TV en plusieurs parties, un acte par soirée. Je les avais enregistrées en cassette VHS, mais il y avait du retard dans le programme, l'enregistreur programmé d'avance a enregistré doutes les pubs et coupé avant la fin et je n'ai jamais pu voir le spectacle en entier ni de cette qualité. En revanche un enregistrement CD de la production avait été réalisé et je l'avais acheté, je l'ai toujours, j'adore Auber dont l'immense production est toujours dans l'oubli hormis quelques titres
