Just a brighter sound!
Stainless has less string tension. But I like to use both Stainless and Nickle. Depends of what brands I can find on special & a bit of a multiple pack deal.

You killed it, dude! Tone and playing are fantastic! So nice to hear old Cloudkicker stuff with that newer bass tone, too. Makes me wish he'd re-record all of his older stuff with the new tech we have now haha.
