    For my at home cleaning toilets I usually use paper towel because I don’t feel like using a toilet rag to throw in with my laundry, but maybe I’m doing it wrong. All the other steps are pretty much follow. Nice video

    • @BethanyJeanCleaning
      @BethanyJeanCleaning 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not harmful at all... and most wax products like the one in the video are non toxic, so no need to worry about food touching it. It really is more of a preference thing. Some people love it, others don't. :-)

  • @HeronCoyote1234

    Could you explain the exact order in which to wipe down the toilet? Like, don’t do under the seat (where most of the pee accumulates) before doing the seat (where you actually sit) with the same cloth (especially if you’re using a sprayed microfiber cloth).

    • @BethanyJeanCleaning
      @BethanyJeanCleaning ปีที่แล้ว

      Handle first, then top of the seat second (since those are both human contact points), and then go in order of 'least grossness' from there. :-) Usually the tank and base next, then around rim and bottom of seat last. :-)

    Bethany, what do u recommend to desinfect the surfaces? … i am the one who uses vinegar for it …. thank u for sharing it is useles

    • @BethanyJeanCleaning
      @BethanyJeanCleaning ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the surface, and the level of disinfection needed. If you're truly worried about killing everything then you'd need something pretty strong, but that's where you need to be careful if the surface is sensitive, like stone or wood. If it's not as sensitive, something like ceramic tile or laminate flooring, then you can get away with harsher cleaners. But I am planning a video on this soon!

    • @yelena_yelena
      @yelena_yelena ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BethanyJeanCleaning thank u! waiting for the video. my surfaces of interest are countertops and door handles. Like after door handles we can touch face. If there is smth strong but nit harmful (kids)

    Is it ok to use the wax on quartz countertops?

    • @BethanyJeanCleaning
      @BethanyJeanCleaning ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep since dawn is PH neutral it’s fine. And the wax isn’t harmful anyways. But test a small spot first to see if you like it. If the quartz is more honed (natural) rather than polished (shiny) then the effect won’t be as dramatic. You can also use marblelife products on quartz/quartzite. I love all their stuff. amzn.to/3QzSv3b 😊

    Nicely presented but you have outdated info. Vinegar in dishwashers is no longer recommended. 2-4 Tablespoon is the max amount of vinegar, and in the softener compartment of the washing machine. Vinegar overtime can corrode these appliances. Many of the appliance manufacturers have debunked these claims for vinegar usage. Just passing along info 😊

      Thanks for the info! I think users should always consult their machines mfgr. I have just never seen any ill effects in over 20 years of doing this, and my machines always last well beyond their life cycle. But appreciate your comment! :-)
